Rakesh Roshan reviews son Hrithik's 'Fighter', says 'salute to all'

Rakesh Roshan, who was among the other stars to attend the 'Fighter' screening on January 24, reviewed his son Hrithik's latest release. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's 'fighter' released in theatres on January 25.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Sanjeeda Shaikh among others in key roles. After the star-studded screening of the latest release on January 24, Rakesh Roshan gave a shout-out to the film while praising his son.

The veteran actor-filmmaker shared a post on Instagram and wrote, "Watched… Fighter the best. Hrithik the best. Deepika the best. Anil the best. Sid the bestest. SALUTE to all (sic).”

HRITHIK ROSHAN IS ALL PRAISES FOR DEEPIKA PADUKONE

During a press event for 'Fighter', Hrithik was asked how it was to work with Deepika Padukone, to which the former said, "I was very excited to work with her. Things became much easier when two performers arrived as actors and focused on interpreting the lines and getting the most out of each scene that was on paper."

He continued, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism to her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat, each line she says is coming from a deep place and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things, so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency. Thanks to her, every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very, very real."

The screening of ‘Fighter’ held at YRF studios on January 24 was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Sussanne Khan and Raashii Khanna anomg others.
