Exceeded my expectations - loved it!
I was so impressed and will be visiting again! We live near and visit Colchester Zoo frequently and love it, but my son loves One Zoo Three so as a half term treat we visited. I now wish we lived closer to here! It’s got everything - zoo animals, great play parks, a pool, soft play, train and insanely excellent dinosaurs. It exceeded my expectations. Meeting Cal, Aaron and Tyler made my sons day - they were excellent with all the many many many children! And the food was good quality. Park clean and easy to navigate - no too large for little legs. Can’t wait to come back!
Hi there, We are so glad you had an amazing experience and got to meet the boys from One Zoo Three. We hope to see you again really soon here at Paradise Wildlife park.

    Great day out
Had a lovely day at the zoo. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Especially impressed by the new sun bears and jaguars enclosure. The tiger and lion enclosures were super. Thrilled to see the 3 brothers Cam, Aaron andTyler during the day. Would love to go back but we live too far away.
Hi there, Thank you for your kind review, we hope you will come back and visit again soon. The brothers are so happy to meet fans and are so glad you had such a great day! I will pass on your lovely feedback to the team.

    Surpassed expectations
Visited in a group of adults and despite the zoo being relatively small ended up spending over 4 hours there looking at the animals (& the dinosaurs! - the dinosaur theme park is worthy of being an attraction all on its own). For kids it must be great, with different play areas. The big cats were really impressive and the sun bears a joy to watch. Some qualms though. Whilst all the animals looked well cared for and many seemed happy in their habitat (particularly the sun bears), some I felt were too constrained. For example the two Zebras looked particularly sad and the penguin enclosure is the smallest I've seen at a zoo. Also the need for keeping a sole red deer in a muddy paddock was not apparent. If people want to see red deer, go to Knebworth or somewhere & see them in a free environment. But overall a great day out.
Hi there, Thank you for your kind review, we hope you will come back and visit again soon! All our habitats go above and beyond the minimum standard that is required by the governing body of zoo and aquariums. I will pass on your lovely feedback to the team.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our day
Excellent day out with the grandchildren. Lots of animals to see. Nice lunch at Sunbear Heights watching the sun bears. Birds of prey show after lunch then train ride round Dinosaur World after which walked round. Plenty of play areas around the park. Great day out.

Fantastic Days Out take a packed lunch or lots of places to eat there.
Bought membership passes for ourselves and our grandson who is a toddler. Worth every penny. We have used the pass once a week and in this a train ride is included. There is a dinosaur walk through with huge mechanical dinosaurs very realistic. There is a zoo with lions, tigers, penguins, camels, zebras, bears, especially like bears who have been rescued and the park supports overseas charities to help caged bears. I find this wonderful. There are plenty of play areas for all ages swings slides. A fire engine. There are small shows put on In the summer. The staff are on the train are lovely. The animals are well cared For and their cages well thought out. I would highly recommend as a place to take the children. It may seem expensive but if you use a lot it’s not. Also they have a lot of staff and a lot of animals to feed and care for so I think the price helps.
Hi there, Thank you for your kind review, we hope you will come back and visit again soon. We are so glad you are enjoying your yearly memberships! I will pass on your lovely feedback to the team.

    Fantastic day
Had a wonderful day here, this was our fourth visit and every time we have been we have always enjoyed it. The park was busy being a school holiday but it was still lovely to walk around with so much space and plenty of tables and places to sit for a rest or to eat. There is so much to do for all ages with the fantastic World of Dinosaurs, play beach and children’s play areas. There are also shows throughout the day. We were also so impressed with the animal areas as they all looked very clean and had large living spaces in natural surroundings with great viewing places. Would definitely recommend visiting here. Just wish we lived nearer so we could go more often.
Hi there, Thank you for your kind review, we hope you will come back and visit again soon. Our yearly memberships might interest you as such a frequent visitor, as you will benefit from the membership price after visiting just 4 times a year as well as many other benefits! Big cat feed experience
Got married here on the 10th August 2013 and we decided to visit again for our 10 year wedding anniversary two days ago. We booked the feed the big cats experience, we fed one of the tigers, and it was fantastic! We booked the 9am slot which meant the park wasn't open to other guests during our experience. We then got to go around the park whilst it was still quiet, which was great 😊.

    Best zoo ever
Went to Paradise Wildlife Park on the 10th August, I can not say anything bad about the place. The park was clean and lovely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful couldn’t do enough for you. All the animals looked well and their enclosures were large and had lots of enrichment. Fed the lions and was the best experience ever, Hannah was amazing and spoke to me a lot about conservation which I am interested in as I am doing an animal science and welfare degree. Best zoo I have ever been too🦁❤️💯

    Good day but very expensive
Was a good day and the kids enjoyed it. However, I don't think it was worth the £90 we paid for 2 adults and 2 children. You then had to pay £2 from the train rude through the dinasaour park, which was not a capable given the cost to get in. I also thought the larger animals were in very small enclosures but looked well fed and clean. Overall a good day and I think the water park should be controlled on numbers going in perhaps for hour sessions, it was excessively busy.
Hi there, Thank you for your review, we hope you will come back and visit again soon. We are so glad you enjoyed your day! Funds raised from visitors are used to care for our animas and to support our conservation projects. I will pass on your feedback to the team.

Been here a few times before but felt that kids enjoyed it more this time as are a little older they loved looking at all the animals especially the big cats . We loved the play area too the kids has a fab time loved the little train ride around . Very good day out reasonable price and we had good weather .
Felt bad for the anaconda in its tank felt that a snake that size needs to be in a tank 4 times bigger as looked very squashed .

We all had a great day animals were great. Parks were good.
The only problem is once u pay quite a bit of money to get in u except it all to be free. The train was again £1 per person.. Crazy golf was £2 each (though we didn't pay as clubs and balls was left out not sure if they do that now instead of paying) wouldn't pay £2 each of we did. Take ur own food & drinks. Even the lady who served us was even embarrassed to say what the amount was for such a few items. Also facepainting was £5 each.
Don't get me wrong we did have a great day.. Just wouldn't rush back. Unless had a voucher.

We will take on-board your comments about the food pricing. We hope to see you at paradise again soon. Many thanks, PWP

We had a Truly Fabulous time at paradise Wildlife Park, this visit was the result of a Birthday present (in the Form of) Breakfast with the Big Cats (Tigers) a Truly unique Time... Very Friendly and helpful staff... Good Info available and very Interesting talks about the different Animals and birds... All marked on Timetables around the park... Our Pre opening Tour focuses on the Big Cats... Our Guide gave us many different facts about the different cats and you stop at numerous Enclosures along the way... Including the Amazing White Lion's and Stunning Jaguars.. You finish your tour at the Majestic Tigers (Hugely impressive and playful).. Our guide then Leaves you in the Tiger Treetops Cafe which has Stunning views over the Tigers and we were then Served a Delicious Continental breakfast... After you have finished Breakfast you are Free to Enjoy the rest of the Day at Liesure in the park, and you can plan to See a lot of your Favourite Animals with Feeding and Talks about them, I Would highly recommend this Experience (Product) and it was a Spectacular day.... With my Grateful Thanks.... Russ and Angela 😁😁😁👍👍👍🐯🐯🐯

such a amazing place. we loved it! great variety of animals, a beautiful white tiger and snow leopards made my day! the staff were friendly and helpful. the food stalls were reasonably priced compared to other attractions and the food was great loads of play areas for kids my son loved the splash park the most but enjoyed all! lots of games, slides and bits to do. the gift shop was well stocked and was not too bad price wise only advice i would have is stock some kids toy figurines of the rarer animals like the white tiger instead of just china ornaments of them! apart from that not a bad thing to say. the attraction was well worth the money, the £3 parking charge not a problem. we just thoroughly loved it and will be back very soon

A lovely day out the red pandas are delightful and we hope to do snooze at the zoo next year. The only down side was the number of wasps in the picnic area it made it almost impossible to sit and eat our picnic.

I have been taking my grand children here since the eldest was 20 months. She is now 7. I have 2 girls and 3 boys aged 7-22months. We took the 4 year old and his 22 month old brother last week and they loved it. There are an abundance of animals both domestic and wild. They look well cared for and are well displayed. There are shows rides and lots of activities. Although not cheap at about £14 a person ( not under twos) I think it is great value for money. Personally we always take a picnic. Although there are places to eat it is pretty much only fast food and a little on the pricey side. Take some extra pound coins for the mechanical rides they will nag to go on. And you have to pay for the train ride but kids love it 😄

I've been going to Paradise Wildlife park since I was a little girl, each time I visit it gets better and better. They have a wonderful diverse mix of thins to do and see which is all affordable and a wonderful day out. My only concern is that some enclosures seem relatively small for the animal living inside.
There is a mix of things to do ranging from the animals to see and feed, shows, train rides, tractor carts, playground, woodland walks, indoor soft play centre and even a paddling pool. This place gets better and better and is a wonderful family day out. My only fault is the food, it's full of bad quality junk food so I would advise to take a picnic for children. All in all, a wonderful day out for the whole family

Overall a good family day out but really not value for money. For myself and 1 child it was £31 which is on par with other similar places however we then had to pay £3 to park! My son then wanted to go on the train which was another £2, and a few other things which again had to be paid for. We had taken a picnic lunch but stopped for a soft drink and coffee which was another £5! The animals are all in clean enclosures although some seemed a little small to me and our best part of the day was definitely the tigers which can also be viewed from one of the cafes. Would I recommend probably yes but just make sure you take cash for all the "extras"

Visited many times and won't stop returning! Not the biggest zoo, but very up close to the animals, the feedings and talks are brilliant (especially the wolves). The tree top tiger cafe is incredible! Absolutely brilliant day out and not too expensive!
