Good game, Montreal! Very much rooting for you the rest of the season!
You know Nancy must love beating CF Montreal b/c of Saputo’s stupid ass.
Wow that was a gorgeous goal. Maybe a little tired from the D but beautifully worked.
Another beautiful goal, wow
Let's hope Raheem the dream gets healthy soon 'cause Lassiter has been mailing it in lately
Whether you back CLB or MTL, I think we can all agree this commentary energy is about as exciting as the commentary during a noon baseball game in the the top of the 3rd against two teams vying for last place.
You talkin John Sadak or Barry Larkin energy?
All three of our goals sounded so flat I thought the AR’s flag must have been raised offscreen and the goal was coming back.
It is your first goal this season.
Lol what a yikes cross
Let's go Crew! I just got off work and last I saw it was tied.
Oh hell yeah, Farsi coming in
What a counter
Finally
Oh what a beauty
Rossi one touch that bitch
great atmosphere in Montreal love seeing MLS grow, night and day difference from even a couple years back
isn't shooting after the whistle a yellow?
I was surprised nobody reacted to that.
What’s the context for the celebration
Choiniere in contract talks, he's becoming a club talisman and hometown hero but stupid dumb Saputo won't give him a new contract that's remotely respectful for a starting player of his calibre in MLS.
So much so that it seems like Montréal's GM was fired/walked off in disgust as a result.
Joey Saputo
Uphill battle against the refs. Will need to fight through it
There was contact, but honestly, give that fucking dive a yellow.
All that rolling. Come on.
The diving is a bit embarrassing. Unfortunately refs eat that shit up
I know Montréal couldn’t play home games forever because of stadium renovations. How different is it?
They always start the year with a long road trip because of the snow/temperatures. The stadium hasn't had any real renovations in years.
That being said Montreal plays those first games usually at the Olympic Stadium which IS closed because the roof may collapse, but that wasn't the reason for the road trip.
Pretty clear offsides but why is the ref going to look at it?
Definitely offsides, but in 2024 how is THAT the best camera angle we can get?
Do you not remember the blimp view in charlotte? That was the best we can afford in 2024
“MLS Recognizes Eclipse By Using VAR Angle Taken From Lunar Orbit”
😂🤣
How is it definitely? He looked level with the ball
I do not understand how this works.
Let me get my binoculars out to check if he was off or not
Yeah I think it’s the right call. He was offside.
Dang...
Are they…. Expecting the ref to eyeball it?? Huh?
Beautiful ball in - hope he wasn't off there
Edit - I really hope they had more angles than the TV broadcast
Arfsten is goal maxxing
Arf Arf Arf
Are these teams drunk? Free chances 12 yards out and nobody can even hit the target
Cmon, there were only 3 guys offside. That’s a tickie-tack call. Should’ve let the goal stand!
These teams may not finish 1-2 in the standings. But they will in the “most stylish manager” rankings.
I'm still technically working for the next 20 minutes but am secretly watching the game. Don't tell mom
Prediction: at some point during this game, they’ll accidentally say “icing” instead of “offside”
Is cucho at the zoo again
The beat reporter said it’s as a precaution. That makes me believe it’s not just resting, but he might have a minor tweak they don’t want to aggregate.
In 2 weeks we play the most important game in Crew history. And you could argue biggest game in MLS history.
So while we want 3 points tonight, it’s not the priority.
