Publisher Will Atenton quits a lucrative job in New York to relocate his wife, Libby, and their daughters to a quaint town in New England. However, as they settle into their home the Atentons discover that a woman and her children were murdered there, and the surviving husband is the town's prime suspect. With help from a neighbor who was close to the murdered family, Will pieces together a horrifying chain of events.

It showed promise, but came completely apart after the second act. A great cast, completely wasted. It's not director Jim Sheridan's fault. The producer changed the film completely, and Sheridan even tried to take them to court to make it a 'Smithee' film. He lost, but the cast stood by him and refused to promote the movie.
Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz star in the Dream House, a psychological suspense drama about a guy and his life upon returning "home". The first half showed immense potential and clear direction, but ultimately become nightmarish after the twist reveal. What's worse is Craig's labored acting and Watt's barely 10 minute onscreen time. Well, Craig and Weisz fell in love on set so some good things at least, eh?

Unsurprisingly, during Dream House, you would have caught me yawning most of the way through it. In fact, watching me dream would have been less tiresome!

My fam wanted to watch this and honestly I was open to it but I maybe would’ve been even more appreciative of it if I didn’t google it while I was watching and saw the 2.6 Letterboxd and 7% RT score lololol
Super predictable and weird acting (I could’ve sworn that Daniel Craig was doing an American accent in the first 10 mins of the movie but then went to his British accent hahaha) and the story was odd to say the least
But I was intrigued and interested to see what was happening and it was very watchable with a real life acting couple so stars across the board for that ⭐️✨🤩⭐️🤩⭐️🤩🌟🌟🤩✨🤩🌠
