Maryvale High School Reviews
Rating 3.71 out of 5 189 reviews
Overall, I would prefer iof education was favored more over music and arts programs. Since moving on to college I have heard of so many other schools having way more advanced/college level courses than Maryvale. I would like to see an increase in these courses, which would therefore increase the college readiness of students.
The staff wasn’t the best but some of the teachers were great and I had a good high-school experience overall. Unfortunately they do not take bullying seriously enough and I have seen many people get bullied at the school and the perpetrators do not get punished for the behavior. The classes are average nothing special but can prepare you for college.
Maryvale has a lot of great students but our school needs to improve on our resources on mental health. We need to improve our level of safety in our school. I feel very unprotected when it comes to this school and I think they definitely need to improve on this for sure.
