KATEN, Amelia– age 93, at rest Saturday, June 1, 2002 in Merced, CA. Native of San Gregorio, CA. Homemaker and loving wife of the late William Katen. Beloved mother of Leonard and wife Mary, William Jr. and Connie, Richard and wife Linda, and Virginia Katen. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.Visitation hours Thursday June 5, 2002 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at DARLING AND FISCHER GARDEN CHAPEL, 471 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose. Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 6, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
