I love Cruise Ship Mysteries, so I was excited to see a new series. I liked all the different characters and I'm looking forward to learn more about them. I really enjoyed the storyline and the twist at the end. I'm excited to read more of the books in this series. I highly recommend this book. The storyline was good and it did keep me guessing but the grammatical errors kind of ruined it for me and made me struggle reading it. A good proofreader would have caught most of them and it kind of ruined the story for me. I don't plan on reading more in this series. I have read similar cozy books and this was by far the worst written/proofread. If these type errors don't matter to you then by all means read it, and maybe you'll like it.

I really enjoyed this book . It features Olivia, an entertainer on a cruise ship, and her parrot Chico. Chico is adorable. He pulls his leg up into his feathers to sleep, and does all the things my own cockatoo did. Olivia has fallen in love with the clever bird, and I did too. She protects him and loves him.
There is a killer on the ship, and Olivia has to use all her senses to survive and protect her little friend.
I liked this book so much, with its clever dialog and fast-moving story, I bought the next 3 in the series. The dialog is crisp and the story moved at a good clip.
I just discovered Ellen Riggs and am looking forward to reading Olivia's other adventures on the cruise ship.

This is a fun and easy read - great for relaxing.

I liked the characters - including the parrot even if usually I'm not overally fond of overusing pets in stories!
The story line was good - I just figured out who the bad guy was almost from as soon as he entered the stories, which ruined the suspense for me a bit. Otherwise I would have given 4 stars.

If you want a light read, this is well written and a basically good book. I wouldn't mind reading more in the series.
