Baby Reindeer's popularity has only grown since its release, topping the Netflix charts. However, the real-life person who inspired the show's stalker Martha Scott is not happy about it, having sat down for an interview to tell her side of the story.

Created by Richard Gadd, who was also the lead star and executive producer on the Netflix dark comedy, Baby Reindeer is based on Gadd's true story. The creator, who plays the fictionalized version of himself in the show called Donny Dunn, revealed he has deliberately changed his real-life stalker in the series to avoid getting sued or recognized, calling her Martha Scott on the show. However, the real-life Martha is now speaking up.

'Thank God Misery Came Out First': Stephen King Pens Detailed Review of Netflix Hit Limited Series
Stephen King has nothing but praise for the new Netflix series dominating the streaming service's top 10.

Fiona Harvey, who revealed her identity in a The Daily Record article over the weekend, has previously opened up about her portrayal on Baby Reindeer, admitting she is considering legal action against Gadd. “He’s using Baby Reindeer to stalk me now,” she told the Daily Mail. “I’m the victim. He’s written a bloody show about me.”

Harvey has since sat down with Piers Morgan for an exclusive interview on Thursday night. Morgan has described the series as “astounding,” and he revealed that Harvey "wants to have her say and set the record straight." The announcement also suggestively ends with the question, "Is she a psycho stalker?"

The official trailer previewing the interview consists of a series of clips of reviews of the show, several of Gadd from interviews, and several glimpses at some of the questions he'll ask. In the teaser, Morgan asked Harvey when she realized she was the person portrayed in Gadd's show, how she felt about Gadd, and whether she ever showed up at his house.

Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning reveals why she doesn't see her character as the villain.

In the full interview, which can be watched above, Harvey details the relationship she had with Gadd from her point of view. She denied the stalking claims, reaffirming that she's considering taking legal action. She denied sending emails to Gadd, noting, "I didn’t write him the emails... I think he probably made them up himself, I’ve no idea.” Harvey also described the ordeal as "obscene" and "horrendous," though she also admitted that she hadn't actually watched the show.

Richard Gadd Didn't Want Fans to Find Martha's Real Identity

Although Baby Reindeer is inspired by true events, Gadd made it clear he didn't want fans speculating on who the real Martha was. The comedian argued that was not the point of the show, and that he wanted to tell his story. After fans tried to discover her identity, he hopped on social media, writing, "Please don't speculate on who any of the real life people could be. That's not the point of our show."

When speaking about whether the real-life Martha would be able to recognize herself, Gadd told GQ, "We've gone to such great lengths to disguise her to the point that I don't think she would recognize herself. What's been borrowed is an emotional truth, not a fact-by-fact profile of someone." It looks like that wasn't the case, now that Harvey is planning to tell her side of the story.

Baby Reindeer is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
