Chai Wan Ghost Bridge is part of the century old Tai Tam waterworks that is situated at a valley near Pak Chai Stream and Mount Parker Lower Catchwater. This stone bridge is estimated to have been built during the war period and there are rumours that there are dead Japanese troops under the bridge; some people claimed that they have seen ghosts here, hence the name. Start from Hing Wah Estate, follow the road and climb up the stairs. The natural path will lead you to the catchwater then the stone bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the catchwater to Tai Tam Road and leave. This short and easy trail is close to the residential area in Chai Wan, and is popular for a morning walk.
