Dover high is a very decent school. It has very good opportunities but often is subject to a decent amount of violence such as fights. We have very big funding for our arts programs however. Food is okay, nothing crazy, some of the food is nasty.
There's really not much that's good to say about this city or county's people in Delaware to be honest.
The cliques in school are carried on long after leaving the system.
Most are uneducated, ill-manered, inconsiderate and lazy children born mostly from Capitol School District
It's incredibly obvious that they don't want anyone not born and raised here to be included in the cliques they have made
English education here is close to non-existent. Math and history included
Then they expect high wages from minimum wage jobs for minimal effort (if they work at all) People seen just walking around all day long and panhandling everywhere
Ill-manered, uneducated, inconsiderate people who believe they're a gift to the world most of which we can ALL do without
I agree 100% with the person that was commenting about Asian focus on education

The best parts of Dover High School was the sports. I played football and basketball for all four years. I played baseball my freshmen year and ran track my junior year. The fan experience and playing in front of the community was something I will never forget.
The worst parts of Dover High School was the lack preparation for life after graduation. I don't feel like I'm prepared for college and/or the work force. I feel that we got pushed through and wasn't provided opportunities to expand on our life skills.
I would like to see the administration changed so that there is more structure in the building. I was fortunate to have a great experience because I was an athlete but I don't think all kids had a good experience.
