Background

I teach in various areas of translation and interpreting studies with a particular focus on creative translation practice and translation technologies. Before I joined the University of Edinburgh, I have five years of teaching experience in over 11 translation and interpreting courses across two universities in the UK and one university in China. Apart from being an academic, I am also a practitioner. As a translator, I am an SDL Trados certified translator and I translated for the UK luxury brand Burberry.
