Suits’ 74th overall episode and the fourteenth of its fifth season is titled Self Defense. Goddamn Counter was dedicated to Simon Paul Marsh, the uncle of Patrick J. Adams. The broadcast began on February 17, 2016.

In order to use Harvey in a mock trial, Mike asks Benjamin to create fictitious marriage licenses and other paperwork, which Benjamin complies with.

When Mike inquires about Benjamin’s opinion of the allegations leveled against him, Benjamin responds that he knew Mike was guilty as soon as he heard the reports, saying that every Harvard alumnus had ignored their education and superiority in favor of him, unlike Mike, who had never done so.

Harold Gunderson approaches Mike and offers to testify in court that he attended Harvard with Mike.

Mike instead approaches Jimmy Kirkwood since he is aware that Harold won’t be able to defend the fraudulent testimony in court.

Even though Mike warns Jimmy that if he is found guilty, all of his cases would be thrown out, including the settlement case he won for Jimmy’s aunt, Jimmy refuses to lie and put himself in danger of going to jail for Mike.

Jimmy, offended, departs; nevertheless, he unexpectedly appears at the trial as a rebuttal witness and provides detailed and intimate evidence that Mike did, in fact, attend Harvard and that the two took Henry Gerard’s ethics class together.

Donna eventually confesses to Anita Gibbs at Mike’s trial that Mike pretended to be Rick Sorkin in order to get an interview with Harvey and pleads the Fifth Amendment when she is prompted.

  1. just watched this episode and your paragraph doesn’t seem accurately constructed:
“….saying that every Harvard alumnus had ignored their education and superiority in favor of him, unlike Mike, who had never done so.”
