Our courses and disciplines challenge conventions, embrace risk, and push students to discover uncharted artistic terrain. SFAI degrees are as individualized as each SFAI artist.
Through cross-disciplinary course work, independent studio time, dialogue and collaboration with peers and faculty, immersive history and theory courses, and exhibitions and lectures on campus, our undergraduate students create new ways of looking at and living in the world.
Our undergraduate program has been re-focused to specialize in upper-division transfer students. If you have 30-75 transferrable college credits, you can finish your BFA/BA degree with us in 1½-3 years. Double majors are available.
