recently we have seen the #1 American hero and what her quirk can do.
Can someone comment down some examples of what her quirk can do for me and others to better understand how it works?
Removing all the oxygen from the air, giving herself super strength and nearly stopping shirigaki’s heart aren’t really enough to get the full on scope of her capabilities.

She has limits. For example, her strength, while great, does not exceed All-Might's (In his Prime, at least), despite it being derived directly from her quirk. Truth be told, we do not know where her limits is, but to call her a low-tier reality warper is accurate. She's not omnipotent, but her quirk by the standards of the BNHA-verse is indeed broken.
She has access to instant-kill if she knows your name and has touched you; even if she does not, this doesn't prevent her from being able to impose rules on the surrounding, which can as we see remove the atmosphere in an area.
Again, we do not know enough, other than her quirk not making her a straight up god.
Couldn’t she replace the air in front of her with things guaranteed to kill anyone? Like super hot fire that not even quirks can stop? Or replacing the air 100 metres around shiragaki with lava or very toxic radiation? Could she replace the air with the strongest metal that exists and keep him trapped? Instead of his heart couldn’t she have said his brain would shut down or just stop sending electrical signals to the rest of the body?
I doubt she could say that the air in front of her has lava because her quirk controls the thing she names, it doesn't create things that aren't there. So she wouldn't be able to magically poof lava into existence there. She would be able to say "the air 100 meters in front of me is 200 degrees F" because that involves only manipulation of the thing she took control over.
So she can control the thing she ordered but she can't create an impossible thing. She can order Shigi heart to stop but she can't order it to turn into a pumpkin. She could probably do some cool shit like touch your wound & order the iron in your blood to solidify into the shape of needles to puncture your vascular system & bleed you out or something. She can control but she can't create stuff that can't already exist there it looks like.

This is such an amazing power. However, completely wasted. I'm afraid the Author is not aware of what he actually did. The moment the star touches the shigaraki could have ended differently. Shigaraki is just a concept in society, but his body is not society. If it can catch the atmosphere, why couldn't she just grab a shigaraki body and give the command "The electron cloud surrounding the nucleus of the carbon atom is positively charged" which would atuomatically equate to his body disintegrating if not a lot more shit.
I just said we do not know. The fight has only begun, and we just saw her quirk debut.
You're asking for explanations for a power that we were all just introduced to. None of us know what the limits are yet, you have to let the story play out to explain it.
The ability is still totally broken, but we need more information to establish how broken it is. Just think of her like Mirio. When Mirio first showed up it looked like he could teleport. Then we found out that he's actually just moving through the ground and the limit is just how much he can hold his breath and he has to move with extreme precision body part by body part. Mirio's ability is still broken at max potential, but he can't just straight up teleport like it looked in the first chapter he fought in.

I was looking for things like “she could make a feather weigh enough to crack a table” or she could make it so “water burns like lava” etc

Ok, you're asking for "examples" from people who read the same chapter as you. We were all just introduced to her, we don't know her limits yet same as you.
I'd say no, it imposes a New rule over the things she touches, I guess she can say something like, the air around me is 4000° hot but she can't rely transform it since it will not be the same "thing" she touched if that makes sense. Unless she can touch "space" and "time".

We honestly don't know enough about her to know she would never kill a hero because of the hero code.
The USA is not really known in other countries as being peaceful or anti-violent. So this is a way to kinda view how someone from another culture views our culture.
Just because she considers All Might her mentor doesn't mean she hasn't killed anyone.
Her limitation on her strength could be a mental limitation she puts on herself. After all she IS a huge All Might fangirl, and surpassing him is probably heretical for her.
I mean what do you want us to say? We literally just got introduced to her power, only person in the world that could give other examples or really know her limits is Horikoshi himself.
She has to touch something, say it’s name, and then she can make a new rule of that thing, bout it

she can do anything she wants provided she touches something/someone and knows its/their name. anything.
remove someone's bones. stop all life in a hospital. touch shigaraki and make him a peace loving hippie. remove all might's injuries.

I don’t think she can impact someone’s personality. We know she can’t make herself All-Might levels of strength, so she has limits.
I disagree. If she could touch Shigaraki and make him a peace loving hippie, then she would have already done it and solved all crime. Ss has limits.
I’m just wondering because if it’s such a strong quirk. What’s stopping her from just having the 2 rules be super strength and the flash level super speed?
I highly doubt shirigaki can do anything against someone who could run around the world multiple times in seconds or punch him with the force of a star.

in theory she's unbeatable. if she, for example, imposed a rule on herself "i can win with everyone in the world", it'd be a game over.
Then isn’t she not using her quirk to it’s full potential? What’s the point in that?
because she'd solve AFO/shigaraki problem in an instant and since she's not the MC, she can't.

Don't you think you're jumping to a lot of conclusions about a power that we only read about for a single chapter? Its barely even been explained yet. Mirio looked like he could teleport in the first chapter we saw him, but the explanation was way more precise and meticulous after the fact.
It's definitely a broken ability, but at least give the story more than a chapter to explain the ability before saying it's just pure plot.

"Everyone in the world" isn't a name though. Seems like she has to name a very specific thing and only one thing. I would think her quirk needs the type of precision that Mirio's needed for him to be able to run through walls.
Still broken as hell, but not "I can defeat literally anybody" broken.
i thought she only needs a specific name of who/what she imposes the rule on (in this case herself).
since she'd be making herself win, she'd need to know her own name only, not every person's in the world.
I highly doubt the rule applies the exact same way to herself and to other stuff. She didn't say out loud "give me super strength" and she didn't say her name. But she did say the thing about the air and the laser.
Same way she can't say "give me the strength of All Might" or anything like that. Limits still apply.

Touch seawater and say that it's sweet Touch oil and say it can conduct electricity Touch a plank of wood and say it can't be burned

The way I understood it is, she can give an "Order" , set up a rule on things she touches. For example she touches the water in a glass, and say "The water in this glass is now X temperature". Or even something like "This hammer cannot be lifted by people under 40yo". It seems she can give buffs but it has to be based on something with measurement, like "This body is now stronger than Prime All Might" won't work because how strong would that be?. Same for the temperature thing, it has to be a set value.

If she touches you and says “[insert your name here] has a billion dollars,” you will have a billion dollars, just like that.
If she touches an old person and says [insert old person’s name here] is now young,” they will become young.
Essentially, she changes reality.
I don't think she can give you a billion dollars. That would make it just magically appear.
As for the old person being young, that would be interesting.
It was a general example. I assumed that, because she could destroy matter (destroying the air in the atmosphere), she could also create matter.
I don't think she destroyed matter. I think she sent the atmosphere somewhere else. So she can basically only change what is already there. Almost like alchemy in fact? She can xhange it but not create or destroy it.
I guess. My money example was purely hypothetical, so it’s not like it matters
Could she touch herself and lake her quirk unstealable?
