Honda center is great for events
This place is great for events and easy to get to. We have been here for sporting events, job fairs, concerts, and rodeo. Its conveniently close to everything, even the other sporting venue down the street. Parking is normal, just make sure to park in designated areas or you'll be towed. You can park outside the stadium as well, but remember the word "designated". Don't park in the movie theater plaza or else you'll be towed, that particular plaza keeps an eye on their property during events at the Honda center. I'm sure others have done it without getting caught but don't risk it.

Get a good seat for the best view!
Came here for another concert for The Trilogy Tour, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and Ricky Martin on a Saturday night. Walked across the street to the venue as I stayed at a hotel within walking distance. I had two tickets as the second ticket I bought was front row and was discounted but there were no Gold VIP benefits which my first ticket had. So I was able to go into the VIP entrance after 5 pm. However, there are no signs telling you where the VIP entrance is so I had to ask and it was on the opposite end of the venue all the way in the back! They should really email us and have signs to tell you where the VIP entrance is. From there, you check in and get your VIP goodies and take the elevator up to the VIP lounge, where there are snacks, two complimentary drinks, a photo booth and DJ blasting loud music. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to be in the VIP lounge. However, they don't have enough seats to accommodate the people who are VIP ticket holders. Having a floor seat is great and I used the second ticket to enjoy the front row seat. Bring earplugs as the speakers on stage are very loud. Great view of the performers and I enjoyed my front row experience!

The Honda Center was fine... clean enough, etc. We were in a suite which was very nice with bathroom, comfortable seats, eating bar and stools... The main issue is that the crowded hallways were made much, much worse with some kind of scam-like interactions going on of "raffle" drawings for Disneyland tickets. These people were stationed every six feet shoving little raffle tickets in your face and trying to push you onto terminals for your "chance to win." Obviously, they were just trying to gather your personal information to sell. On the way out there was an even more aggressive person trying to sell you extra Disney points for free Disney parking and other perks. Without these huskers harassing us, the visit would have been rated Very Good or Excellent instead of Poor.

Great Facility. Was there for a conference. Staff is very nice and place is very easy to get to and has tons of parking. Would have loved to see a Duck's game but they were away. I did however, get a bit of a private tour from one of the Staff (thank you Bill, very much appreciate it)... secretly. Also liked their shop, lots of autographed stuff from the players.. way overpriced, but ... its there, most teams don't even do that for their fans.
Will be back for a game when covid is done... hopefully soon.

I was an international traveller and generally wouldn't rate a venue but honestly I had to with how great the employees were. I was a bit nervous with being from out of town and having a different ID and Vac card then most but it was a BREEZE to get through (unlike my hometown arena lol). It was so easy. And I interacted with 3 staff members that were above and beyond. Funny and kind. I wish I caught their names - 2 were ushers in section 228 and I think 227? My team lost but the great service almost made up for it lol

Went to a Ducks game and had reasonably priced tickets in the upper bowl. Security and staff were friendly and helpful in locating our seats. Had to pay for parking, but it was easy in and easy out --- great traffic flow after the game. Worth a visit if you enjoy hockey!

Since near the Honda Center, and love hockey (especially NJ Devils), went to a game. Great arena. Very clean, nice selection of food/drinks. And got to see former Devils, Henrique. Awesome time.

Travelled to So Cal to watch a few hockey game in late November. Caught the Kraken/Ducks game here. Really liked this place - parking was easy, there was a lot of room, and it was easy to get around. Fans were great and we had a good time. Would like to come back someday.

I bought these tickets thinking I was going to be in a nice cushy luxury box seat, but what I found out is the owner of the box can invite more people into the box than there are seats. So instead of a nice cushy seat, we sat on bar stools in a sardined packed luxury box. I was able to enjoy the game, but I wanted to let people know, that buying these types of seats does not guarantee you an actual seat. The owner of these boxes are selling tickets and also inviting their friends and family to the same event. There where people sitting on the steps that lead to the box seats, and standing room only in the living room area. I could have spent a whole lot less and have a guaranteed seat if I would have known the situation. And just so you know, I already verified this with the Anaheim Honda Center. Sorry for the late email, but I know March Madness is approaching soon, so I wanted to let you know, so others won't be scammed by these so called Luxury Box Seats. Thanks.

Starting to show some age but we had seats I. 401 section and had good view of action on the ice. Getting out wasn’t as smooth as Angels stadium but overall not too bad.

I've been to Honda Center on a few occasions and for the most part, I've had really good experiences, and for the most part this experience in terms of the ceremony and the hockey game, were pretty good, but the low rating here is to bring attention to the staff at Honda Center, and to the ridiculous pricing for concession items.
Firstly, being that Paul Kariya was having his number retired, it was going to be an event where lots of people who are in from out of town, and are unfamiliar with general policies at the arena are going to be in attendance. That said, many of the things I encountered with the staff, were turnoffs, and considering how much of my money I was spending to come and be a part of this event, it was very disappointing how we were treated by the Honda Center staff.
It started with the team store. When they opened the doors to the arena, many people were wanting to go to the store to look at the Paul Kariya merchandise. An employee immediately started yelling at all of us to line up to the right (when in fact she was pointing to the left), with no signage, no stanchions, no organization at all. The store is very small, and instead of removing their normal merchandise, they set up a very small portion of the store dedicated to the gear. You're literally elbow to elbow with people throughout this entire experience. I finally got fed up with the experience when I was attempting to look at some of the merchandise that they had positioned behind the cashiers, and it was the only place in the store where that merchandise was positioned. Immediately staff members started yelling at me, as if I was stealing something, telling me that it was an exit only. I for one am tired of going to events like this and being treated like cattle. We're people who are paying hundreds, some of us, thousands of dollars to be here, have a little bit more respect.
Secondly, they recently changed the main entrance into the arena, where now the entrance is pushed out to where the TV set for intermissions, pregame and post game are set up. During the 1st intermission, we had heard Paul would be doing an on camera interview. We decided to go outside the building to see the interview, when once again we were yelled at by Honda Center staff that when you exit the building you have to scan yourself out. Again, this area, is brand new this season. Even if you are a regular attender here, there is a good possibility you would have missed this new policy. The staff working the doors here didn't even know who Paul Kariya was, adding to the tone deaf manner in which they treated the guests here. We were obviously all excited to see him, doing nothing wrong, and being yelled at by employees...an experience that should have been nothing but positive, again overshadowed by some really poor treatment by Honda Center employees.
I really don't understand Honda Center's camera policy with detachable lenses...that was a huge letdown for the fans looking to get pictures of their favorite player on his special night. I also don't understand why they are so un-accommodating to mothers of small children. There was no mother's room anywhere in the building, and they also do not allow strollers at all. Would have been helpful for us when waiting in line outside or for food.
The cherry on top was after the game ended fans wanted to get photos of the banner hanging from the rafters. Our seats in section 205 had an obstructed view of the banner, and we wanted to get at least one good photo. While we were able to pop off a few from our phones, once again Honda center staff hurried us out of the area, telling us they were closing...seriously dude? Seriously? If you knew you were going to have to hang out for 10 minutes longer than a usual night, and have a problem with it, then maybe you should have asked for the night off.
Lastly, the food here is atrociously expensive. More than Disneyland. $6.50 for a 20 ounce bottled water, and $15.50 for a draft beer. I understand that when you come to events like this, you expect to pay a mark up, but come on! This is extortion.
I think this is more on the Ducks than Honda center, but there was no giveaway for Kariya night, which I was sorely disappointed with, and overall I'm let down by the bad fan experience that the arena has created. I recently went to the SAP center for a hockey game, and I can honestly say their fan experience is 10 times better than here at Honda Center. Very disappointed, and I'm one of those who spent over a thousand dollars for my wife and I to be there this past Sunday.
