There is barely any reboot out there other than ghostbusters that managed to be this horrible.

Everything in this movie sucks. The acting the writing, the CGI, the creature face, the dialogues and also all acts of the creeper are against the established lore. The creeper is:

• not a slasher killing for fun. Only kills certain people to eat their bodyparts
• never cared about babies..not to mention she is in early pregnancy so what to eat..
• not working with humans..
• doesn't sacrifice people on an altar
• doesn't go and put on the music everytime it stops during a frickin fight..
• usually not leave a dagger to his future meal..
• doesn't not really care worried about even major head injury remember the second movie writers? Who am i kidding they never watched any of it..
• and not controlling the crows as his personal Uber..

About the tone. This ain't a creeper dark scary horror movie. It is more like a stupid comedic slasher...

Characters: Most of them generic ones i bet it took 15 minutes to came up with them.

• strong woman!

• guy who is afraid of everything
• redneck aka "yo wanna see my daggers?"
• hot tv reporter just to flirt with the bf husband? But why?

• a medium woman just like in all the other movies but here she is not even established nor her visions make any sense cause none of them ever happened or gonna happen
• guy who pranks

Dialogue is abysmal but i want to leave this brilliantly written part here:

• Babe why did he take you?

• Look i'm pregnant! He wants what i have!

• What?

• Yes i will marry you!

Whoever wrote this please change career..

And character reactions are unrealistic and one is the worst. The "Strong female pregnant gf" who has been kidnapped being cut up by the creature and then 2 minutes later she is turned into the "woman king" :P Remember when darry and her sister in the first movie were shocked and darry pretty much was traumatized just by looking at the creature and it's place? No nothing like that here! Strong female doesn't care about those silly stuff. 3 minutes after escaping she is into Galadriel face mode and wants to kill the Creature and goes against it toe to toe..

I can only hope this will not turn into a trilogy or they hire a total different crew for the next two who actually care about lore and the franchise..

Jeepers Creepers Reborn is basically an abomination of a film that has nothing to do with the original or its admitely inferior sequels. It has a convoluted story about a couple called Chase and Laine going to some cheap looking horror festival where it turns out that some locals are sacrificing people to the Creeper by luring them to a supposed escape room. The creeper meanwhile is killing everyone he comes into contact with without trying to get them afraid and smell out whether he needs body parts from them. It turns out he is after Laine because she is pregnant. Why? Because.... No one knows. On top of everything else she is seeing visions which have nothing to do with anything else in the movie. In the end some of the survivors supposedly kill the Creeper and Laine's eyes turn completely dark and in the next scene the Creeper is shown alive again.

The acting is atrocious and the chemistry between the leads is non existent. The supporting cast is mostly terrible as well but given the script this is not surprising. The effects and the cringe worthy dialogue are also atrocious as was the the whole production over all. Truly, a shockingly bad movie.

I thought nothing could be worse than the third one... and here we are. The creeper was stripped of every interesting and scary thing about him. The whole cult thing was stupid, the creeper himself looked bad along with the horrible horrible CGI. In the third movie he was a Jedi with his axe and his truck was rigged like a super Mario cart, and now he has infra red vision, a super sonic whistle and god forbid you touch his record player. The rednecks death was ridiculous, the guy just so happened to fall off the roof in the most anti climatic way. The creeper now stands on roofs like Batman looking down on Gotham city, walks away from explosions like he's in a Michael Bay movie and teleports by crow. I hate it here.

What a shame , what a waste of an iconic character, the first movie was fantastic and I loved the second as well the third movie was bad but Reborn is by far the worst movie of the franchise, which I'm gutted as I was so looking forward to this . Plot was awful, Creeper was so bad (different creature design) casting was all wrong , effects terrible, on a positive note score was good and cinematography was ok as well but all in all don't go into this movie expecting something great it's clearly a B movie which don't get me wrong I'm not against as I'm a director myself and know how hard it is to make a movie with no money behind it , But this had a tone of money behind it so no excuse. All in all

The title is a joke, just like this movie.

Oh my God it's so bad? Like.. They really told us that this was going to reinvent the franchise. This is an absolute embarrassment of a film with the worst CGI I've seen in a LONG time; most of the things in this didn't even NEED CGI but they decided that their horrendous greenscreening was just a better idea than filming in a real location. The acting matches the CGI, along with the storyline that introduces the fact that for some reason, Creepers wants to rip out a freshly implanted foetus to.. Live forever? What?

Honestly this film is terrible. Please do not spend any money on this, I'd even beg you not to waste time downloading it, watching it, or even processing in your own mind what you just watched.

They had the opportunity to make a decent movie here.

It's been the appropriate amount of time, why not bring him back as the Jeepers we know instead of Ret-con 1000'ing the F out of it, to the point he's barely recognisable.

He looks like a cross between a Klingon and Bill Cosby! He doesn't look like he used to. That's not a racial dig btw, that's a fact! Watch it and disagree with me please.

Terrible movie. Absolutely the worst.

I deliberately didn't watch any trailers or read reviews beforehand.

I wish I had because I'd have avoided this total TRASH.

They've retcon'd in a cult as well.

Why did he just come crawling out of that building at the start?

Are people's attention spans so bad that they don't remember a flying demon who basically ate a whole bus full of kids? Just over 20 years ago????

He was on the wall of some guy's barn at the end of the second one I believe (as the 3rd is a prequel to the 2nd) so what happened to the people who were awaiting his awakening again?

This movie could have told us that, but instead it decided to mimic the 1st movie to start, and just sucked for the rest as they're cashed around a "haunted house"

Is it every 23 years?

This 23rd year, everyone had forgotten that a black, leather skinned flying demon is about to wake up and start 23 days of indiscriminate killing!

There is a very very weak legend surrounding the "Creeper" considering it hasn't been long since his last appearance!

I was about 19 when Jeepers 2 was on.

So the people who were 19 at the time would now be 40 plus depending ofln how often it wakes up.

(Don't want to misgender Jeepers!) A ruined opportunity, and another IP cash in.

I saw Jeepers Creepers:Reborn, starring Sydney Craven-EastEnders_tv, Wolfblood_tv; Imran Asams-Wedding Season_tv, Hollyoaks_tv; Peter Brooke-Wonder Woman 1984, Sunrise in Kimmeria and Jarreau Benjamin-Coronation Street_tv, Red Devil.

This is a disappointingly bad reboot of the Jeepers Creepers franchise. The first one was in 2001, the second in 2003 and the third was in 2017. This one was filmed in the UK, Finland and parts of the USA. It takes place in Louisiana-after the second movie, since the third was a prequel-with Sydney & Imran on their way to a horror festival. Peter plays a festival worker that is also a local and takes Sydney & Imran to the house that was supposedly used by the Creeper-it was the prize in a contest held at the festival that Sydney won. Jarreau plays the Creeper. Sydney has visions-it's not exactly explained why she does-that involve Jarreau and a voodoo type of sacrifice. A lot of stuff doesn't make sense. For instance, Jarreau attacks people but doesn't kill when he should. Oh yeah, there is an opening scene that seems to have just been thrown in to have some name actors in the movie. It has Dee Wallace in it.

It's rated R for violence, gore, language and some partial nudity and has a running time of 1 hour & 28 minutes.

It's not one that I would buy on DVD or even rent it. If you really want to see it, I'd wait until it's on tv.
