I am pleased you have finally returned to serving a proper Sunday lunch and it was very good. I still find the ambience rather sterile and not very comfortable. White table cloths would be nice instead of cheap plastic mats? The staff are very pleasant but apart from the wine man, they seem inexperienced and their serving techniques are slightly awkward. However, I and my friends, will come again as the lunch was good. As we all live locally it is an obvious location for Sunday lunch .

We very much liked our experience at Origin. It faces Kensington Gardens with large impressive windows. The food proposed on the menu is of good quality and portions are adequate. Very tasty food, on the modern side. For a restaurant of this quality I am always disappointed when the waiter does not know who has ordered what. At the order it is very simple to tag a choice to a person or to a position on the table. Then whoever brings the food (not necessarily the person having taken the order) delivers it straight to the guest. Simple. We will go again soon.

We booked last minute for Saturday lunch. The choice was great, the food was cooked perfectly, and service was very friendly. The shepherds pie was delicious, as was the chicken. There was lovely selection of cheeses and house red wine was great. Very good value for money. Will be back soon.

Overview is fine But we are disappointed that we were charged full price on the menu when it's advertised as a spper club offer for £29 per 2 course meal with wine. Our bill came to £170.44 for 3 We were over-charged, not as the promotion.

Awful experience, never again! Average Sunday Roast. Terrible service. Reception took at least 5 minutes to get our coats. Waiter took a long time to say our first choice of wine was not available. Then, we had another long wait to know our second choice of wine was not available. The waiter said he was on his own, so what do we have to do with it? An apology would have been better. We were finally told the £30 wine bottles were not available, by which point we were almost finishing our lunch. We said we would have a £40 wine bottle if discounted, so the waiter called the manager to check. The manager came and started by saying there was a problem with the wine, he was terribly rude. No apologies again. Unfortunately, what used to be a fine dine restaurant turned into a mere café.

A really enjoyable experience. The staff were lovely. The barman mixed us amazing cocktails and the waiter was very helpful. The food was full of flavour. We had an offer so had a free cocktail to finish. The best bit was the Bourbon biscuit dessert. It was not like any Bourbon biscuit I’ve had before. I’m looking forward to returning.

1. The Staff were courteous and professional 2. The breakfast is a real gem (Best in European Hotels so far) 3. The setting was perfect with garden view 4. The dinner took some time to come and eventually the bill was not what we expected with the advertised Valentines deal (there must have been some hidden small print as we ended up paying nearly 30% more, just be honest with terms and conditions when advertising the deals please). We had traditional fish and chips which was excellent so was the desserts.

We were treated so well from the moment we walked in and were sat down. All our dishes were exquisite. The sweet that my wife ordered,(sticky toffee as ever) was beautifully decorated as it was her birthday, they wrote in chocolate syrup, Happy Birthday across the plate. Didn't get the waiters name but he was one of the most professional we have ever been served by.

On April 5th my wife and I dined at the restaurant. This was our 2nd visit as with our first visit I can not fault the food the chef is to be applauded for his outstanding food. In my first review I had some very negative comments. Not this time. The service was excellent our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, made sure our wine was topped up and that all our needs were met. The restaurant manager was friendly and made sure that we were happy. My wife and I will happily dine here again. The whole experience is exactly what we would expect from a restaurant of this kind. To all who made our evening such a pleasure thank you

Excellent food! I think this is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Must try! We were a party of 6 and everything we ordered was fantastic and each one of us were impressed and very happy with our meal. We will be making this a regular from now on! One of the very few proper restaurants that serve delicious warm bread - it was such a treat to not have cold, hard and stale bread like in so many other restaurants. If you like Singaporean food, the char kway teow is superb, definitely a star dish on the menu. I highly recommend it!

We attend the Friday oyster night me and my Mrs and it was our first time. From the beginning the service was warm and welcoming, Barbara (the restaurant manager) and the team did an amazing job regarding service and explanation of the dishes. Oyster were delicious, generous size , and then the venison was cooked beautifully. Definitely come back!!

What a pleasure to dine in this wonderful restaurant. From the moment we arrived Fabio made us feel very welcome. The food and cocktails were delicious, and we were again made to feel 'at home' and very welcome by the attentive Rikesh. We don't get to stay in London very often but will be sure to visit this restaurant again when we do.

Tentative Christmas Eve dinner booking with my partner. Not too many people, but not too cold either, just right. The service was warm and prompt and the food was excellent. The only problem was that there was probably a technical glitch in the ordering system and the main course we ordered didn't reach the kitchen, it took almost an hour to rectify this error but we weren't in a hurry. At the end the restaurant presented a dessert to apologise, all in all it was enjoyable!

The front of house manager, Salwa (black dress woman!) offers exceptional service. She was very friendly and extremely helpful with my Mum - a wheelchair user. It was her service, and warmth plus the excellent standard of food that means we will return without hesitation.

I booked a table for 9 and last minute needed to add another person, the restaurant was very accommodating and efficiently sorted out our table. The food was delicious and nicely presented. It’s of excellent value with the Winter Warm Set Menu. All of us love the raspberry and lychee martini !! The waiter was very attentive, swift service without being intrusive. I forgot to mention one of us has a dietary restriction and the waiter addressed the issue professionally. We’re impressed with how he handled the situation. In fact, all the waiters that have served us are very good, the overall services are immaculate. Salwa, the head host, came to say hi and to check that everything went well with our lunch. That’s a very nice welcoming touch. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the splendid lunch and we will definitely be coming back!

Chairs were a little uncomfortable for someone who’s on the larger side . Food was mostly nice , wanted the signature shepherds pie but unavailable, had burgers but they were dry . Overall ok but pricey.
