I workout on this every week, training for the Manitou Incline. It's hard work with lots of people of varying physical abilities. The view at the top is beautiful. You can go back down the stairs or take the trail down.

Only 200 steps so it’s over quick. But you can use it as a sprint and get your heart rate up for a couple of minutes anyway. Then run down the path for more distance. Nice park. Quite a crowd for a winter day. I would not be surprised to see a full parking lot in summmer.

I putter out at 100 and have to pace myself from there. Great way to get your cardio! Once you hit 200, do it again.

Really enjoyed the walking and it is a good way to spend about 45 minutes. Nice views and depending on your activity level you will get your heart rate up.

Careful if you are out of shape! You can go up and come down the path to make it easier on yourself tomorrow. Great for cardio. Lots of other paths in the park as well.

This is a long set of stairs with higher than normal steps to test your fitness or improve it. Remember that you are at about 6500 feet of elevation so breathing hard is to be expected. There is a zipline in the same park.

I love the mini incline as it is beautiful scenery and a great workout. All ages can enjoy this and you can go at your own pace. So thankful to have this in our city.

I have done the mini ini a few times. It’s not a bad incline if you don’t want to travel to Colorado Springs to do the real incline. I took my 2 year old daughter. She did a good 70 steps before she needed me to pick her up.
I do have like that the steps are nice and big.
FYI for people comparing this to the manitou incline. Doing this 10 times is NOT like doing the manitou incline once. It is much harder than that.
The mini ini is a great place to take your kids or if you are out for a quick workout.

Vertical stairs that is and wide enough I must take a step in between by the 20th step I stopped for breath (71yo) watching others RUN without stops. After catching my breath I began again stopping at every 20th step. Finally up to the top and a very nice view. Walked around and around on the trail to the bottom (did not want to take stairs down) I felt so satisfied that I went back up and again a lovely trail walk back. ANY age can and should take advantage of this and the many FREE beautiful trails all over Philip Miller Park.

200 wooden steps, going up 178' in elevation. You can take your time on the way up and most people do; there are people that like to run it, but most are walking at a steady pace, taking breaks as needed. I took my water bottle to the top with me, but some people also left theirs at the bottom on a table at the base of the steps. Fun challenge!

Your best bet is from sunrise to sunset yet I suggest checking the site on google for more specifics.
Can you bring your dogs
Dogs are not allowed on the mini incline anymore for safety reasons I was told. There are tons of hiking paths and trails though that you can do with your dogs around there for sure.
