When we checked in to Fairfield Inn Strasburg, we were greeted by the nicest people! Not only the person who gave us our keys and told us about breakfast but also Viviana Villarreal, the General Manager. At the time, of our visit (early June), guests were beginning to return to travel and staying in hotels, and we asked about her staff. She praised all the people who had stayed loyal to the Fairfield Inn through COVID-19 restrictions and to those who were still working diligently to keep guests safe. As she talked to us, we could tell how much she cared about the people who make this particular inn special and how she appreciated the extra care they were providing to keep rooms clean and provide a good for guests. It's people, not properties, that make the difference for us -- and, at this location, we could feel the high level of care that each employee gave to guests.

We decided to use a Suite Night Rewards cert. for this visit. We got a very nice room on the 3rd floor, with a view of the mountains. Everything was very nice. Bedding fresh, towels and linens fresh. No problems. And the staff was top notch. I found the one luggage cart to be lacking (bad wheel bearing) and they were fixing it in the morning. The restaurant next door makes is a bonus, as they serve great food at reasonable prices.

This is a nice property. The rooms were fine. The workers were pleasant and accommodating. They have just reopened the fitness center, but we did not use it. One puzzling thing about the property is that the business center was closed. Maybe they just did not want to clean the keyboards, after someone used it. They could just provide some sanitizing wipes and put a sign stating to clean before and after use or use at your own risk. Try the Italian restaurant next door. It is good with fast service.

This hotel is located right off of I-81, and is right next to restaurants and fuel stations, making it a very convenient place for to stay at. It is also close to Shenandoah National Park, and this hotel thus has beautiful surroundings. My suite had an amazing view of the mountains, and was a real treat. The swimming pool and fitness room were out of commission and thus not available for use, but wasn't a big deal. The 2 queen suite that I stayed at was very spacious, quiet, and nicely furnished with comfortable bedding and sofa. The only quibble that I had was that there are no bedside USB charging ports, and the power outlet near the bed was taken up with the lamp and alarm clock. Bedside connectivity for my devices is something that I would like to have. They had a good selection of breakfast items in the morning, and was decent overall. Lastly, the staff at this hotel are first rate, and very warm and welcoming.
I enjoyed staying here at this wonderful Strasburg hotel, and wouldn't hesitate for a minute to stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

We found this hotel very nice with reasonable rates. Becky at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming, thanking us for using our Marriott/Bonvoy membership and making sure we had everything we needed for the night. We had a king room with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Everything was very clean and comfortable. While there are 2 or 3 electrical outlets were available for charging, etc, there were no USB ports that we could find. Breakfast was the typical cooked scrambled eggs, sausage and a nice surprise of bacon, but there was no waffle maker. There was a variety of cereal, bagels and English muffins. Breakfast room and morning desk staff all very pleasant. We would stay here again.

We decided to book a one night stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Strasburg prior to visiting Shenandoah National Park. The hotel is conveniently located off I-81 and offers plenty of parking. The front desk staff were very friendly and quickly checked us in. We found the room to be very clean but smaller then we would have expected. It kind of reminded us of a cruise ship cabin. Breakfast was the typical hotel fare including eggs, sausage, yogurt, etc. Overall it was a nice stay but because of the size of the room, we might not stay at this location again if in the area.

Drove 6 hours to be told my reservation was accidentally canceled. Waited 20 minutes for the desk clerk to make a call to the manager. Then she stopped and checked in a guest while I waited. Walked over to where I was sitting and simply said "we don't have a room available" and walked away. If you make a reservation here, bring a blanket and pillow in case you have to sleep in your car

Very nice place. Good sized room, very clean. Free breakfast, had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, hard boiled eggs, juices, cereals, muffins, toast , fresh fruit etc. Staff very friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay there again. Very easy on off interstate 81.

Nice hotel. Great staff. It isn’t a new property, that’s obvious. But they keep great maintenance on it. It’s like one of those homey hotels. Room 415 was nice, very big bathroom! Overall a very nice facility. But beware tho, they only have one elevator. I was lucky to be there on a not as busy time but if it’s full it may take a while. But again, the staff can’t do much about it unless somehow one of them pulls an elevator out of their pocket.

We chose to drive home from New Orleans due to recent events in the world and found this property the second night. We did not have a reservation as we pulled into the lot. Becky greeted us, checked us in, called the room ten minutes later to make sure we liked it and even recommended a restaurant to us. I am not sure if life will ever take me through Stausburg, VA but if it did, I would stay at this property. The Marriott should be proud of how Becky represented their brand! The property, lobby and rooms were nice and the breakfast was very serviceable the next morning.
