Guidehouse names David Zito managed services leader, Ed Meehan growth leader

Guidehouse, a global management consulting firm, has named David Zito as global head of managed services. Ed Meehan succeeds Zito in his prior role of chief growth officer.

Based in Chicago, David Zito will lead a global managed services horizontal that combines the firm’s financial services, healthcare, and energy managed services offerings. He has more than 35 years of management consulting experience, with deep expertise leading strategy, operational improvement, M&A, and supply chain projects for healthcare clients.

Zito most recently served as chief growth officer at Guidehouse. He joined the firm in 2019 as part of the acquisition of Navigant, where he spent 16 years and latterly served as healthcare practice leader.

Before that, he spent 11 years at Capgemini, where he was a VP in the healthcare consulting practice, and ten years at EY, where he was a managing director.

Ed Meehan will succeed Zito as chief growth officer. He has over 30 years of management consulting experience with a focus on selling and delivering large programs that integrate consulting, digital, and managed services.

Meehan spent the last three years leading Guidehouse’s defense segment, which serves the US Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense and defense agencies, and commercial aerospace and defense firms.

Before joining Guidehouse, Meehan spent 27 years at Accenture Federal Services, where he was latterly chief operating officer. He also previously led the consultancy’s safety and citizen services portfolio and was federal sales lead.

Guidehouse also announced the consolidation of its defense and national security segments. The unified segment will be overseen by John Saad, who previously led the national security segment.
