Ghost Stories (学校の怪談 Gakkō no Kaidan , literally "School Ghost Stories") is an adventure series about a group of schoolchildren who are threatened by a different ghost or evil spirit in each episode.

The series became a cult classic in North America because of the vulgar English dub. The producer Steven Foster worked with the voice actors to create a script full of adult humor, including profanity, sexual references, and other offensive material.

The 20-episode anime series was created in 2000 by animation studio Pierrot and Aniplex for Fuji Television, based on a book series by Toru Tsunametsu. The series was originally licensed in North America by ADV Films, and later by Discotek Media. It was also licensed for the southeast Asian market by television network Animax, who recorded their own Engilsh dub using a literal translation of the original Japanese script, and titled the show Ghosts at School.
