Agnes R. Lewandowski, 92, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 31, 2016. She was born on December 9, 1923, in Toledo, OH to the late Charles and Loretta (Paulken) Steiger. For years Agnes worked as an office manager for Trailmobile and Freightway trucking companies but will be remembered most for the time she spent with her family, especially at Lake Hamilton, Indiana.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Judy Buhoveckey; her grandchildren, Bryan (Kathy) Buhoveckey, Gregory (Bethany) Buhoveckey Sr., Ann Marie (David) Kaniecki, Christopher Buhoveckey, and Mark Buhoveckey; her 8 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; her brother, Robert Steiger and her sister, Adeline McDonald.
Family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd. Brunswick, OH 44212 from 3-7 p.m. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes will be held on Tuesday, August 9 at 1 p.m. at St. Adelbert's Catholic Church, 3233 Lagrange St., Toledo, 43608. Family will receive friends at the church one hour before the Mass. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio. Online condolences may be left at
