Shopping for cute mirrors, slippers, stationery, etc. in HK

Hello everyone!

I will be going to Hong Kong next year with my family. In addition to sightseeing, I would like to buy cute gift items (mainly compact mirrors, indoor slippers, stationery, umbrellas, etc.) for my shop. I'm thinking of Ladies Market, Stanley Market, and the like based on what I've seen in a number of blogs and forums. Will I able to to find the stuff I'm looking for at these places? If not, could you please suggest where I could shop at reasonable prices? Thank you very much in advance.

Go to Fuk Wing Street, near exit B2 of Sham Shui Po station. You will find many wholesalers selling the items you are looking for.

Yes you find what you are looking for there.

I like the Sham Shui Po suggestion from Glacierfed

Temple Night Markets is a decent place to look at as well

Lastly, the endless little shops in TST and Causeway Bay will be good places to look. Nearby Jardine's Cresent is a decent place (its jammed packed though and more consumable goods instead of gifts)....

They certainly won't be as cheap as the markets, but department stores may be worth checking out too (or maybe even just for ideas). I used to pick up stationary and 'cute' gifts (more for kids though) from Jusco and Sogo.

Good luck with your planning and have a GREAT time in HK! :)

Another vote for the Night Market, for the experience on top of offering what you seek.
