Watched because this is a movie about fencing, and I am a fencer. A petty criminal/national-team-aspiring fencer escapes the law and central casting mobsters. He hides out teaching fencing at a Scottish girls’ boarding school. The main guy is loathsome from the beginning and remains loathsome throughout. The fencing itself is mostly rudimentary and avoids any excitement inherent to the sport when fencing hard against tough opponents. Overall not a recommend unless you are a fencing movie completionist as I am. Highlight was the performance by the actor playing Elizabeth, the Head of School.
