- Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,941 contributionsThis cemetery is located not far from Amsterdam, on the edge of Muiderberg. It's quite a big area. One part is an old graveyard as you can see from the old gravestones and at the other side of the water is the new area. There is also a jewish monument for the victims of holocaust next to the morgue ( it is now a national monument). The restroom is near the entrance. It's open daily except saturdays and the jewish holidays. Big parking area at the other side of the road.Written June 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,941 contributionsIt was a bit chilly when we did the walk on the beach so it was not crowded though the surfers were already busy doing their activities. The parking place along the beach was full so you'd better park at the shopping area. It's a nice walk with sea breeze.Written June 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,941 contributionsThis church is located near the beach on a hilly part. There is a small parking area not far from the church. It was not open due to the pandemic so just took some pictures and left.Written June 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,941 contributionsBy the entrance of the path to the windmill, there was a sign, closed due to the pandemic. The windmill was in working but we could only enjoy it from outside. It is located near the "Naardermeer" ( lake ) where you can have a walk.Written June 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,941 contributionsThe Miracle of Muiderberg, that is what you read on the information board. It's a small part in the middel of the wood, not far from the beach and you will be in the middle of the echo area. The echo garden is located behind a small door with a hart. The echo come from the ground and it was found by the gardeners in 1613 but they thought that was something to do with ghost. Finally they found that it's a special ground that give equal echo and built a semi-circular wall to amplify the sound of the echo. There was some points, marked by ears on both side of the end of the wall and from those points you can make a sound or better clap your hands and you will hear the equal echo perfectly. The wood self is not beautiful but this echo garden is one of a kind.Written June 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maxvdstorm1 contributionLovely little harbor close to Amsterdam, with a beautiful view of the lake with small cute boats. The people working on the harbor are super nice and helped me with picking the right gear for windsurfing. It is even possible to have some lessons and the prices aren’t crazy too. If you’re looking for the most beautiful and most rewarding place to windsurf or to sail, this is the place to go!! I would come here any day any time. Thanks for having me guys!🙏Written October 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
