A Book with Miles question
that I am sure has been answered MANY times but I can't seem to find the answer ....
We have enough miles to fly CW to Rome.
We would book far in advance since reward availability seems to vanish ... but if we were to cancel the trip, what happens to the miles and the $$$ we would pay for fees?
Can the dates be changed after the trip is booked?

If you cancel outwith 24 hours before departure then you get back all the miles and taxes minus the cancellation fee. The fee depends where you depart from...around $50 or so.
You can change dates for free if you do it online.

What happens if you cancel several months after booking? I'd like to snag the seats early but .... it's hard to plan 9-12 months in advance.
