Has improved considerably since last season, finishing in the top three in the last six starts. Second on his return from 3-month break in February before winning by 3.5L over this course and distance in April last time. Good chance.

Returned to the winner’s enclosure for the first time in almost two years at lower class (1200m) in September 2023. Well beaten in two starts over 1200m this term.

Raced mainly shorter. Placed fifth over this distance at NAR-G2 in November 2022.  First race up since November 2023.

Emi Sakihokoru

All three wins were from 1400m dirt. Won at 2-win class at Tokyo by 2 lengths in February but showed little in his first run at this class in March.

Hardwired

Two wins over this course and distance in seven starts. Won at lower-class by 1.3L in February last time. Good chance.

Lord Fons

Finished in the top three in eight from 10 starts over this distance. Won at lower-class by 1.3L at Chukyo in March and encouraging a nose second in this class at Tokyo in April last time.

Lucks At There

A solid performer won at lower-class over this course and distance in January before finishing 1.5L third at this class (1400m) in March last time.

Peptide Tiger

Finished in the top three in the last nine starts. Moved up to this class this term. Finished 1.3L second over this distance at Hanshin in April last time.

Won at lower-class (1200m) in January before two encouraging runs at this class over 1400m and 1200m respectively.

Winless since October 2022. Finished 1.3L sixth over this course and distance in January but well beaten ninth (1400m) in March last time.

Trained by a new trainer and a former jockey Yuichi Fukunaga. Finished 1/2L second in this class in May 2023 but finished below par in recent four runs.

Satono Ruffian

A winner on both turf and dirt. Has shown good ability over this distance. Finished second and fourth at 3-win class, both over 1400m in two starts this term.

Tamamo Daijokki

Shifted from turf to dirt in September 2023 and since then never missed on board in six starts over dirt. Finished 1.8L third over this distance last time.
