Vero Beach High School Reviews
Rating 3.84 out of 5 515 reviews
My experience overall at Vero Beach High School is a positive one. They offer a wide range of AP and Honors courses, along with Career Technical Education courses that provide students with industry certifications. The staff are overall hard working and put the needs of the students as their first priority. However, there are some negatives about VBHS. The bathrooms and classrooms are often unclean and remain in the same condition for days, and are often packed with students skipping classes. The food provided by the school is cheap and low quality, offering little to no true nourishment, and a large portion of students that attend do not prioritize their own education, or care to learn in a safe and clean environment. Overall, in spite of some of the negatives, my experience as a student at VBHS has been great. I have learned many skills that I will use in my academic future, and I have been given many opportunities to improve myself.
Very proficient in academics and sports, utilizing many resources, but lacking in peer quality. Will perform well with focus on the right goals.
The best part of the experience is the teachers and overall level of education available for students. The worst part is the counseling and guidance available, mainly due to the large amount of students and the low amount of counselors, there is a lack of personal help available.
