I like the item so much but I just can't play Jacob and Esau, have the boss rush in a lot of characters but can't manage to even get there as Jacob and Esau.
I know there is a bug with dead cat that allows infinite lives (I've come to bargain), but that bug seems to only be ineffective in Boss Rush as if you die there you get teleported out and the door closes if you are over 20 minutes.
Any tips?

If the timer is the issue, then Mama Mega is your friend. Use it one Depths 2 and it will open Boss Rush regardless of how long the run’s taken.
theres no real "easy" way other than just practice. if you really cant do it, your only real option is cheating. its literally a case of just getting a strong enough run to beat boss rush
If you wanna cheese it you can always plug in a controller, start coop, pick jacob and esau for one player and leave him standing around
Try to get a really strong starter like the knife/ipecac for Esau and that's all you need
I've tried this, but I usually end up blowing up Esau using Ipecac.
If u are still looking for an easy way to unlock things, search how to use the debug console and cheat OP items and the We Need To Go Deeper! shovel to easily unlock anything u want. Dont really recommend it tho because no real gameplay fun is involved

To my expertise, you can use mama mega on chapter 3 (depths 2) and go to the boss rush. Or make sure to have a good starter for Esau (e.g: tech x/ipecac/ mom's knife ect....)
you could get a friend to play isaac with you and co-op jacob and esau for boss rush, and that's what i'll probably end up doing to unlock rock bottom
This was fixed apparently it wasn’t supposed to be part of the game :(
