We have 3 Catholic High Schools within a 5 mile radius of our home, but hands-down decided to drive further to have our son attend Central Catholic. Everything Central says they provide they absolutely deliver on. My son is thriving in academics and sports and is experiencing the tradition of brotherhood in a faith community that no other Pittsburgh High School can provide.

Central Catholic High School is truly one of Pittsburgh’s Catholic College Prep crown jewels. Academically, it provides our son with a challenging curriculum to encourage intellectual growth and scholastic achievement. Athletically and socially, it offers multiple organizations to thrive and excel, strengthening existing relationships and creating new ones through teamwork. Spiritually, Central has expanded our son’s knowledge and strengthened his faith. At every level, the Administration has been welcoming and responsive and the instructors are consistently available during and after school hours to respond to questions and provide support. Our Central experience has been stellar and we are proud to be part of such an extraordinary tradition.
I enjoy Central Catholic because it is a brotherhood and we all support and uplift each other. The thing I do not like is that the school is not very diverse. I would like to see more students who look like me, African American.
