He was predeceased by : his parents, William Poole and Mary Sue Russ. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Russ; his daughters, Ashley Russ (Mike) and Lindsey Toland (Jason); his grandsons, Jace Alan Toland and William Russ Toland; his sister-in-law Elka Lang (Chris); his niece Jennifer Fithen (Dan); his nephew Jonathan Ledrick; and his brothers, Larry Barnes (Linda), David Caldwell (Diane) and Ted Hood (Melinda).

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Home - North Little (1921 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
