Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express This is the closest any film has come to re-creating Anuja Chauhan’s universe, very few can do the insider-outsider divide with such acuteness, both sharp and warm. Rated: 2.5/5 Mar 19, 2024 Full Review Jose Solís Common Sense Media In "Murder Mubarak," director Homi Adajania tries to deliver a film in that spirit, but comes up with an overlong study of characters navigating the class system that doesn't match the quirky comedic tone with which the story is told. Rated: 2/5 Mar 27, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider Murder Mubarak is a major all-over-the-placer that veers from broad comedy to touching character moments to hyperventilating melodrama to meta-commentary to social critique with the occasional instance of brutal, gory violence. Mar 26, 2024 Full Review Rohan Naahar The Indian Express Just because Murder Mubarak features Deven Bhojani in a supporting role, it didn’t have to mean that it should look, sound and be performed like a forgotten episode of Baa Bahu Aur Baby. Mar 22, 2024 Full Review Nandini Ramnath Scroll.in Khan, in particular, is in superb form, giving serious competition to Pankaj Tripathi’s unflappable, highly observant and perennially amused Bhavani. Mar 19, 2024 Full Review Rahul Desai Film Companion Murder Mubarak takes the scenic route to find the balance, but it arrives. And it commits. Better late – if not straight – than never. Nikhil K Movie was not so interesting as I thought, even though cast was diversed and well known, movie fails to impress. Didnt like the music score Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Kunal Ghose A I really enjoyed the pace and was fully entertained. Enjoyed the dark humor all trough the storyline. The acting was mixed bag was very surprised to see Karishma Kapoor in a very small role with no arc development. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Angad S A very Agatha Christiesque movie & quite entertaining. I enjoyed it. No Bollywood songs & low on corny scenes. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Prax L I was genuinely excited about this movie, but it turned out to be a colossal letdown. The only saving grace was Pankaj Tripathi and Vijay Verma's exceptional acting. I was particularly eager to see Karishma Kapoor, but her role was disappointingly small, and the character she portrayed was poorly written. She definitely deserves better roles with more substance. And as for Sara Ali Khan, it's evident she needs more training in acting. Her expressions are monotonous, her voice loud without purpose, and she fails to evoke any emotions or depth in her character. With more than half the movie focusing on her, it became painfully predictable, leaving little room for suspense. The first half of the movie was filled with unnecessary drama and confusion, lacking any coherent storytelling. The actors themselves seemed awkward and forced in their roles, making the entire experience cringeworthy. The lack of a compelling storyline made everything seem messy and disjointed. I strongly advise against wasting your time on this film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Ira T Love the acting as always by Pankaj Tripathi!!!! He always lives up to his characters!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/22/24 Full Review Al C gruesome on screen cat death :( Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
