We went to this place last weekend. Even though you have to pay 80 kuai entrance, it is not that commercialized yet and you only find two places on top of the mountain which sell water and snacks.
Very nice scenery and a good hike, clean nature and a nice temple (not sure how old, but beautiful).
We went by bus to Lanxi, then took a bus to Zhuge Bagua Cun and from the same busstation you can find a little greyish bus going to the bottom of the area. From the street where you can get off you walk maybe 10 min until you reach the ticket office of the scenic area. Needed time to visit is around 2-4 hours, depending if you take the cable car up the hill or if you walk. Take enough water as there are no supermarkets close and on top of the mountain the water is quite expensive.

Very lucky to have seen this place ... Suggested by locals and a real step into a traditional Chinese Village/Town. If you are in the area, please visit. Amazing !

While on an overnight excursion to Zhuge we happened upon this site quite by accident. (Pulled into a service station and saw a huge billboard advertising it.) We decided to make a quick visit which meant we didn't see the entire site so we have to go back again and explore fully. It is similar to the Hanging Temple in Shanxi although not so old or original I suspect. It is known by various names from what I gather (Daiji, South Xuan Kong) and even with post-visit research I have been unable to find out how old or close to original the actual site is. Compared to the predominantly wooden Shanxi Hanging Temple it consists of more concrete formwork and is a little less 'hanging' and a little more 'nestled in'. It has likely been developed from an original smaller structure and now has a cable car in place to take you up the 500+ metres. The walk takes you through the hanging temple structure, a large golden buddha, a lake, further cliff hugging structures which are occupied my monks, the standing buddha, and a waterfall. We only made it as far as the first temple and the golden buddha but weather permitting this still affords you a good view of the entire site except the waterfall. The entry is 80rmb, cable car up is 50 and down is 40. Next time I would allow 3 hours and take the cable car up and then walk the entire circuit down.

This place is huge! Not too touristy and the tour was nice and very informative. It's definitely an attraction to try out if you enjoy unusual places.

You can enjoy the senaric view and have a boat ride to dam. On the boat ride you might also see mineral water factory along with the hydro power generation
