Married At First Sight season 8 aired in early 2019, allowing four couples to spend eight weeks together to see if they were a marital match. When the dust settled on Decision Day, five of the eight cast members decided to stay together with their spouses, leaving three unhappy cast members to walk away from their marriage. As one of the best reality TV shows, it's no wonder there's interest in past cast members.

While there are few Married At First Sight couples still together, some pairs have stood the test of time. There were four couples who went into MAFS season 8, but not everyone stayed together on Decision Day. Regardless, a lot has happened to the MAFS season 8 couples since appearing on the show. As fans await the upcoming MAFS season 18, it's time to revisit season 8.

AJ & Stephanie

Still Together

AJ and Stephanie seemed to share a strong physical and emotional connection early on, which provided a promising start to their marriage. However, like many couples on the show, they faced obstacles and disagreements along the way. These challenges ranged from communication issues to differences in lifestyle preferences.

However, they've become one of the best couples to emerge from MAFS. AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen were instantly drawn to each other on their wedding day and demonstrated electric chemistry that all of their friends and family knew was genuine as can be. As such, it's no real shocker to learn that the couple remained together on Decision Day, or that the couple relocated from Philadelphia to Key West in 2021 to live a happily married life together. Stephanie and AJ continue to go on adventures and enjoy life.

Jasmine & Will

Not Together

Unfortunately, things didn't work out the way Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess had hoped for on MAFS season 8. The two showed tremendous promise after getting married in the season premiere (although their opposing views on traditional marriage led to a frayed dynamic, especially when Jasmine thought Will didn't show enough affection). However, the saddest part of their divorce on Decision Day is that Jasmine said "Yes" and Will said "No," leading to an awkward split that was not unanimous. They were the only couple in season 8 to experience such a fate.

While things didn't end well for either on the popular Lifetime TV show, Jasmine has since moved on to find love and live happily ever after. In February 2021, she announced the birth of her first baby, Jacoby. Jasmine shared she was pregnant with twins in December 2022, but she hasn't shared any updates since. Hopefully, she and her babies are doing well and she is maintaining her privacy.

Kate & Luke

Not Together

The only season 8 couple who flat out decided to divorce each other on Decision Day, Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo, were never meant to be together for the long haul. Luke immediately expressed that he didn't feel any connection to Kate from the jump. Things went downhill even quicker on the honeymoon when Luke began to insult Kate. Fortunately for Kate, she put the Luke debacle in the past by dating a man named Harry. Meanwhile, Luke continues his photography career in Philly where he specializes in wedding photos and secret engagements.

Keith & Kristine

Still Together

Fan favorite couple Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth were the best part of MAFS season 8 for the way they instantly connected yet took their time to make their marriage work. After a somewhat slow start, once the two began eroding the boundaries and really got to know each other's true personalities, things clicked in a genuine way that was palpably through the TV screen. One significant point of contention early in their marriage was their differing financial situations. Kristine was financially successful and accustomed to a certain lifestyle, while Keith had struggled with financial stability.

As such, it's great to report that Keith and Kristine are still together and going strong after buying a new house nine months after the show ended. Keith and Kristine are an example of how, despite the show's infamous lack of success rate, Married at First Sight can legitimately work if the two parties take it seriously. Luckily, there's one of the best couples to come out of the show and remain married today.
