- DannyWassermanVirginia Beach, VA4,443 contributionsVery cool area in the small town of Clovis, Ca. offers a wide variety of Antique stores, coins and sports, clothing, places to eat, and so much more. We love that you can walk up and down the street and visit this quaint town and spend some money for the small businesses that are there.Written June 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - E.L.EBrno, Czech Republic18,497 contributionsBeautiful forest next to Yosemite park. Lot of green land and picturesque landscapes. - Freedom200206875303 contributionsThe monuments were amazing and the replica of the Twin Towers is so powerful with all of the names of our lost first responders listed on them. The QR codes on the story boards give even more information about each element. It’s a great learning experience for children and adults. It’s free so you can take the whole family out to experience it. Even though 9/11 was a tragedy, the memorial is a hopeful place and a great place to reflect.Written February 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alison N2 contributionsThis is an absolutely delightful farm experience. During the fall they offer pumpkin decorating and other fun events. Their U-Pick flowers are also gorgeous. Highly recommend as a family outing or even a fun visit with friends! A friend came from out of town and I suggested we go to the botanical garden. It was so peaceful walking the little paths and looking at all of the plants and flowers. I plan to go back and just walk through once in a while to decompress.Written April 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mistytraveler77Forks, WA19 contributionsWe were there for a catered party and tried many of the beers! Blonde bomber is smooth and refreshing,{ my favorite} but I tried seven brews as tasters and had to sit down!!!! Great Tastes but the beer carries a kick! Really surprised at the mix of flavors AND THE GREAT AFTERTASTES! Will certainly return. Great place for a party!Written October 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WorldAdventurer_7Atlanta, GA583 contributionsThe charm of downtown Clovis is undeniable. The beauty of the region and genuine, caring nature of the residents is also abundantly on display when visiting delightful old town Clovis. On top of all of that, the devotion to our troops and hospitality to any and all seeking help or orientation is championed by the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. Truly a special place.
They've recently opened a museum to showcase the history of the region and the integral nature of the human lives involved therein as well as those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. This really has all the wonderful feels of unique education, patriotic encouragement, and the comradery of the every citizen.
The staff is kind, informative and entertaining. And it really can engage the young to the eldest with its exhibits of varying range of detail, digital sophistication as well as easy-to-learn and peruse. Not to mention, you can't beat free entry. This should be one of the top places to visit (if not #1) in the area.
They noted that they will be open on Memorial Day - another example of the dedication to country and fellow human.Written May 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
