My experience after just graduating from Putnam city high school has been interesting. The experience as a whole was alright, but there were times that I wish that there were better executions of things like budget, facilty, and management.
Budget Management is not fairly distributed in the slightest. Most performing arts programs, something I was majorly apart of, is barely funded by the school. Most of the funding for any programs we put on either are fundraised by students or come from the teachers own pockets. Most of our extra-curricular funds go to sports and doesn't consider other categories.
Facilty is unfortunately not very maintained due to the lack of janitors, they are very underpaid for their work and because of that our janitorial staff has to put in extra hours just to make sure the facility is cleaned.
Finally, our management can be very unorganized at times. I love all the teachers and higher ups, but there is room for a lot of adjustment.

PCHS is an alright public school for Oklahoma standards. It's not the best public school out there, but it's not the worst either. It's just... a public school. The faculty is nice enough and tries to be helpful, and classes aren't too hard and can be passed with an A or a B if you pay attention. There's dozens of clubs you can join and plenty of sports to participate in, however if you're not a sports or clubs person you'll miss out on most of the experience, and it's easy to feel isolated. The worst part is the student body; students tend to leave trash everywhere and are rowdy, with fights and public arguments happening at least once every week or two. The best part is the diversity. There's students of every race, gender, orientation, and cultural background here.
Putnam City High School is a really good school that is availibke for everyone and anyone to attend to. I ould highly recomend going there because of the diversity of cultures and the environment, you will learn a lot about other people and their culture.
