Diana Lee Inosanto has again paid tribute to her Ahsoka co-star, Ray Stevenson, stating that working with the actor "was an absolute honor." Stevenson, who passed away last year, played Baylan Skoll on the Disney+ show, with his performance widely praised by critics and fans.

Per Collider, Inosanto, and Eman Esfandi were at 2024's Calgary Expo to discuss the Ahsoka series on the "All About Ahsoka" panel. Inosanto shared personal memories and insights into Stevenson's impact on the series. "Working with Ray was an absolute honor because he's a veteran actor. He had me at the show Rome on HBO if anybody's watched Rome. I miss Ray all the time," she shared. "I'm so saddened that he's not here with us anymore. I'm so thankful that he at least had his moment to be with Star Wars fans in London, Star Wars Celebration, which is where we last saw him."

The "Ray of Light Awards" film festival has been established to honor Stevenson's creativity, with Inosanto remarking that it was a positive way to celebrate the actor's legacy. Star Wars Teases the Return of Baylan Skoll

Star Wars recently teased the return of the popular Baylan Skoll for Ahsoka's second season. Officially confirming the series' return on X, Star Wars included a piece of concept art depicting the show's protagonists, Ahsoka Tano, and Sabin Wren, standing on the outstretched hand of a statue of the Father. Baylon Skoll stood on what seemed to be the same stone figure in Ahsoka's first season finale.

'It's So Great': Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Hyped by Series Star
If Skeleton Crew star Kerry Condon is to be believed, Star Wars fans are in for a treat whenever the upcoming series lands on Disney+.

The piece of art includes text that reads, "The story continues...", possibly implying that the former Jedi will search for the greater power he sensed on Peridea with Ahsoka and Sabin in pursuit of Baylan as a major plotline of Ahsoka Season 2. Star Wars will have to recast the character if he will indeed appear in the upcoming season.

Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni recently discussed the future of Baylan in Star Wars, indicating that there was more to come for the character while acknowledging Stevenson still deserved to be at the center of the conversation. "Obviously, there's a story there. We're in a wait-and-see pattern at this point. But I'm glad the conversation is about Ray and how great he was," Filoni said.

Ahsoka Season 1, starring Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, is streaming on Disney+.
