A made-for-tv byproduct of The War On Drugs.
I was totally going to do some drugs, but then I saw the Bandit and John Bender hanging out in the woods, judging everyone.
And now I know, to just say no.
One of the more serious, semi-competent 'Just Say No' propaganda videos, like an updated take on REEFER MADNESS as approved by Nancy Reagan.
Some funny lines scattered throughout, especially when they use the word "joints" or scaremonger about the concept of gateway substances and behaviors (yes, a teenaged addict steals her mom's jewelry in order to pay for weed, and then almost prostitutes herself to a comically scuzzy dealer while Dermot Mulroney-as-Greek-Chorus peer pressures her), but this is only worth watching if you're a Burt Reynolds completist.

Anti drug video in which a girl an her friend go through the trauma of smoking too much weed And the struggle to break free from the addiction.
Another one of those blink and you'll miss her Ami Dozens projects. The most interesting thing about this is Burt Reynolds shows up at the end
Potaganda at its finest.
Watching Judd Nelson and Burt Reynolds pretend to not LOVE drugs is a wonder.
Well-intentioned idiocy. A pretty straightforward “Don’t Do Drugs!” film, with a few random cuts to Burt and Judd on an omnipotent stroll through the woods as they pass judgement on teenagers smoking weed. The 80s were such a fascinating time.
