It’s here!

Houstonia has released the Fall 2021 issue. This marks the first of many under the magazine's freshly appointed Editor-in-Chief, Nandi Howard.

“When I think of Houston, I think of community,” Howard begins in her editor’s note. “As I step into this new and exciting role as Editor-in-Chief at Houstonia, it’s building a new community that’s on my mind.”

Houstonia’s latest print issue takes a glimpse at what’s new and exciting this season, while reporting on the cities best of the best including restaurants, beer gardens and fall activities.

Detailing the cover, large stories were transitioned into characters including the fashion feature Influencing In Color strutting the field and a huddle of doctors to correlate with our lengthy list of the best practitioners in the city – leading up to the most anticipated fall event, Astroworld Festival.

The festival is hosted by Grammy-nominated artist and Houston’s very own Travis Scott, set to take place the first weekend in November.  On the cover, Scott performs on stage illustrating one of the many thrilling art and culture experiences coming to the Bayou City this season. 

“The city may not be back to what it was pre-pandemic,” says Howard. “But the future looks bright.”
