Really beautiful! I didn't go in as it was too early but the outside of the building and the square is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

What a nice place, with many fine works, especially 2nd floor, and not much obligatory filler like some larger places. I LOVED the skylights and light wood floors to display the works in a more natural setting. Chagall's, Picasso's, all 1900's with the older stuff on the darker 1st floor. Many other places could learn from this place.

Hit the courtyard for the Rodin sculpture first thing on the way in (you can but tickets inside, not just outside). It sets up your head for what is ahead :). Also in the KBYO (know before you go) category: The place has two buildings and connection is quirky, they do not allow umbrellas, the monitoring staff is great, and if you have a hotel QR you get half off (no, do not pitch or leave in the room).

An easy walk from old town with many OK places to lunch.

Hands on demonstration of paper making and you get to take your piece with you. The museum part shows the equipment needed to make paper many years ago. Gift shop had many pretty items.

This was such a cool experience! It's a Rhine "cruise" on a budget! Ingenious execution of an ingenious concept. Lots of fun. Highly recommend.

It is best to visit the Town Hall with a tour guide or within the framework of an organized tour. Otherwise, you will likely just walk pass the Town Hall and miss the opportunity to learn about this impressive building .

This zoo is large and we were happy to have planned a whole day to visit it. The kids loved to see all the animals and we had a lot of fun.

Absolutely fab. Such a great museum and exhibition. I also like the Cardiff&Miller exhibition which is perfect for this museum as you become part of the art pieces.

This was a really lovely museum to visit - lots of old toys and teddy bears. You go straight up to the 4th floor and work your way down. You go around at your own pace so it is up to you how long you take (although I believe that they do have a guided tour if you wish to do that) - there is so much to see and it is very well put together and presented. I'd certainly recommend it for adults and children alike.

Nice fountain utilizing the stage props from the theatre destroyed by fire.

Very cool to watch the movement as the water sprays from the sculptures.

It's a beautiful building so worth looking at when you arrive from the airport.

The pluses are that there is a small supermarket inside - or keep walking with the station on your left and you will see a Coop. We liked the shop in the station that sold 800 beers from around the world. All very expensive but fun!

Signage inside isn't great for anything other than platforms and public bus/tram signs. We were looking to see how to get to the far side of the station and tracks to find the international bus (Flixibus) stop. No signs until you actually get to the exit. To find this, go up the escalator and walk over the bridge and then you will see the sign.

Toilets cost CHF 1.50 so find somewhere else unless you are desperate!
