Small traps doesn't seem to work
Hi All,

Perhaps I'm missing something here but I only once had an animal in one of my traps. The other onces didn't catch a thing. I know that my first trap is in the wrong area, it should be dense forrest. But the 3 other traps are in those areas as indicated on the map.
I already went trhough an entire year without a new catch. Yes, all traps have berries as bait.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Make sure to put traps not too close to your settlement and if you can spot rabbits somewhere, that's the best place for them. It can sometimes take a full in-game day to catch a rabbit, so place as many traps as you need, but you can reuse the same traps again.

Thank you pogosan. I guess some of them are too close. Is there a way to remove redundant traps? I can't find a way to remove the things.

Yes, you can open Build menu and click on Disassemble. You can also rename buildings with another button there.

Can you rename NPCs too?

I put my traps in a forest next to settlement, had many catches until my guys chopped the trees down then they stopped, I made some more traps further into the same forest but they didn't catch a single rabbit. Can traps clear the rabbits and they never repop?
