GILFORD--Madeline Lee. The much beloved actor, writer and producer of the N.Y. theatre scene for over 50 years, passed away in her home on Tuesday in her 85th year. Maddy has been celebrated for her tireless support of the theatre community as an advisor, friend and cheerleader to countless numbers of aspiring creative artists. She and her late husband, Jack Gilford, were famously blacklisted during the McCarthy era. She is survived by her three children, Lisa, Joe and Sam, and three grandchildren, Max, Molly and Jacob. Contributions in her memory may be to Actors Fund of America.

You will be missed!!! Thanks for the great times and the great gifts of love you bestowed on our hearts (not to mention the great gifts at the holidays and birthdays). You were a blessing to Rory who loves you deeply and we are all greatful for the time she got to spend with you. Nona, Uncle Max and Aunt Molly you are in our prayers during this difficult time. Grandma Maddie, May you be remembered for the good times, the laughter and the love that was shared by all those who were blessed to be a part of your journey.
