A key to how inept this Silver Star production is comes in its first shot, which is two guys sitting a table eating dinner, and one says to the other, “You know, a few years ago, three countries built a powerful nuclear weapon called the Trigon Bomb blah blah,” and delivers about a minute of exposition. Why did fat older guy feel the need to pull this story out of his rear end during dinner with swarthy glasses guy?
After learning the bomb is split into three pieces and won’t work unless all three pieces are together, glasses guy reveals he’s a “professional bounty hunter” named Shield (David Light). He’s hired to go after Irish terrorist Cyrian McCoy (Anthony East),…
