It's a Wonderful Knife is a 2023 American slasher comedy film directed by Tyler MacIntyre and written by Michael Kennedy. It stars Jane Widdop, Jess McLeod, Joel McHale, Katharine Isabelle, William B. Davis, and Justin Long. It is a spin on the 1946 Christmas film It's a Wonderful Life. Violent Night is a 2022 an action comedy directed by Tommy Wirkola and written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. It follows Santa Claus (portrayed by David Harbour) as he fights mercenaries who have taken a wealthy family hostage in their home.[6] The film also stars John Leguizamo, Alex Hassell, and Beverly D'Angelo. Infinity Pool is a 2023 science fiction horror film written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, starring Alexander Skarsgård, Mia Goth and Cleopatra Coleman. These films stem a more niche experience for the horror fan but we think are worth checking out!

In light of the newly released Blu Ray of Mysterious Dr. Fu Manchu and Return of Dr. Fu Manchu both directed by Rowland V. Lee and starring Warner Oland prompts us to discuss the excitement of these stories inspired by the short stories as well as look at some of the problematic racism of Hollywood at that time.
