Miranda Lambert Witnesses MuttNation Foundation’s Impact During Las Vegas Animal Shelter Visit

Since the 2022 opening of Miranda Lambert’s Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency, $1 of every ticket purchased has been donated to Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation. There are now only a handful of shows left before the residency officially comes to a close, and these ticket sales have already raised a total of $140,000 for the 501c3 nonprofit. The female country star recently paid a visit to Hearts Alive Village, an animal rescue in Las Vegas that has been directly impacted by the generosity of MuttNation. 

How Has MuttNation Helped This Las Vegas Shelter?

During her visit to the shelter in December, Lambert was told about some renovations that needed to be done, such as additional soundproofing in the building. Since then, MuttNation offered funding to the shelter, which in turn was a huge help in ensuring the establishment was able to make those improvements. 

When she returned to the shelter this week, the “Actin’ Up” singer got to see first-hand just how much the donation has benefited the shelter and the adorable pups who are currently residing there.

The shelter director revealed in a new Instagram video how MuttNation’s generous contributions started a chain reaction from members of the community who stepped up to help in various ways. She shared that they saw more fosters than ever take in dogs from the shelter, while others, like local carpenters, donated their time to make additional improvements to the building, which will help better serve “thousands of dogs for decades to come.”

“That would’ve never happened without you starting that,” the director told the Texas native.

Lambert responded, “I love that. That’s what MuttNation is all about.”

She later added on socials, “It was inspiring to visit @heartsaliveanimalrescue again & hear about how the local community has rallied around them after @muttnation’s donation 💕”

Since its inception in 2009, MuttNation Foundation has raised over $10 million towards its mission to “promote the adoption of rescue pets, support animal shelters across the country, advance spay & neuter and assist with the transport of animals during times of natural disaster.”

The Velvet Rodeo Will Wrap Up On April 6

With her final Sin City show quickly approaching, Miranda Lambert, along with Live Nation Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment, presented MuttNation Foundation with a final donation of $140,000 on Wednesday, March 20.

Additionally, Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick was on hand for the memorable evening to present Lambert with the Key to Las Vegas’ famed Strip. He was responsible for officially declaring Wednesday, March 20, 2024 as “Miranda Lambert Day.”  

Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency was designed exclusively for Bakkt Theater inside Planet Hollywood, and is promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment. This run of shows has given fans the unique opportunity to experience Lambert’s live performances of her multiple No. 1 hits with an elevated production featuring pyrotechnics, incredible light displays and stunning rhinestone ensembles.
