His knowledge of the history of Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and Nova Scotia was fascinating. - Richard YScottsdale, AZ135 contributionsThis was my third time putting a group together to tour Halifax Gardens, the Fort, the Titanic gravesite, Peggy's Cove, and wound up at Shaw's Landing for an incredible late lunch. Jonathan Duru is a master story teller, knows Halifax history, as well as the surrounding areas, and I consider his pricing to be very competitive, and about half of what a cruise ship wauld charge. All kinds of things—from the Halifax explosion to Fisherman’s Cove—were effectively covered and left me with a highly positive impression of the city as a whole.

The stops were well chosen including the historic, scenic and wineries. Molly brought out blankets for us, and Brandon answered our many questions, and even opened the hatches for our little guy who had a blast exploring down below. The tour was planned out perfectly and we saw so many beautiful spots that the cruise ship excursions would not have taken us to. The pricing is extremely reasonable for a private tour. You have several hours to explore the town - I popped into some art galleries, visited the Fisheries museum and took a harbour boat tour. Plenty of time to get a taste of this town. - KHCAlabama38 contributionsOh my goodness....our guide with See Sight Tours was so accommodating, to be sure this tour was exactly what we wanted! With approval from the entire group, he changed the itinerary and order of our tour so that we got the most out of Peggy's Cove AND the Titanic Cemetery. Being a local, he even timed our trip so that we'd have the best view of the lighthouse for pictures, and just as he said, the fog rolled in as we were leaving. I felt like my little brother was taking us on a tour of his favorite spots.
