Originally speaking to The Mirror, about his show, Jonathan Ross, the husband of Jane Goldman, revealed a few tidbits about his wife's Game of Thrones' prequel pilot.

Your wife Jane is behind the Game Of Thrones prequel. Tell us more...

She’s doing amazing.

I’ve seen the pilot and it’s a great cast, including a couple of people I suggested…

I’ve been living more or less in Belfast, where they filmed it, for the past six months.

The craftsmanship on set was extraordinary.

I’ve been on loads of sets and I don’t like it, you feel like a spare pri*k because you’re hanging out at someone else’s workplace.

But I’ve never seen a bigger set, they built it in a car park and surrounded it with containers to block it off from view.

But people could still see it as it was next to the Titanic Museum, which has an observation deck that oversees it – ‘Oh look, Naomi Watts!’

While talking a bit about the other House Targaryen prequel, Martin also clarified that while he hasn't seen a cut of the Pilot for 'Blood Moon'/'The Longest Night' yet, he also says the sets are spectacular!

Martin confirms right off the bat that the first new pilot, the one he prefers to call The Long Night and that has been called Blood Moon by production, has been in post-production and he expects to see a first cut soon. He also mentions that, “Last month in Belfast, I got a behind-the-scenes look at some of her sets, and they were spectacular.”

Hopefully it won't be long now before the series gets picked up.
