Charging

Please charge the radios follow the steps while hearing “please charging”, the LED light will turn red. Please charge with the matched charger or a charger of 5V1A, take the USB end of the charge line to the interface of the talkie and put the other end to the adapter.

The adapter should plug in the AC POWER of 100-240V.

  • The LED light is red while charging
  • The LED light is green once fully charged.

Basic Operation

  1. Turn On/Off
    Long Press the Power button to Turn ON/OFF the radio.

  2. Channels
    Short press “+” or “” to select the 1-16 channels (The machine will broadcast the channel number after you press the “+” or “-” button).

  3. Tips: It can extend to 99 channels by the software program (Need our programming cable). Short press the “Power” button again, it would turn to the volumes selection.

  4. Volume

  5. Step 1: Short press the Power Button, you will hear “Volume X”.

  6. Step 2: Short press the “+” or “” to change the volume level. There are 1-8 grades for the volume, 1 is the lowest, and 8 is the loudest. Press the “Power” button again, it would turn to the channels selection.

  7. Transfer & Receiving

  8. Step 1: Choose the channel you want by press the “+” or “” button;

  9. Step 2: Press the PTT and hold(the LED turns red), start to speak then release the PTT button when you speak over (Please keep the mouth 2-5cm from the talkie to have a best voice);

  10. Step 3: The LED light will turn green while it is receiving (The talkie can only receiving the message of the same channels).

  11. VOX
    Press the “+” and “” buttons at the same time for about 3s to turn on/off the VOX (You will hear “VOX ON” if you open VOX, and “VOX OFF” if you close VOX).

Function

  1. Vox Level
    There are 1-9 grades of VOX level, 1 is the most sensitive, and 9 is the lowest (The default is 3 level). If you want to change the level, you will need to use the programming cable to connect to your computer to change it by the Software. Keep your mouth from the talkie in 3-5 cm to have the best effect.

  2. Stand By
    The LED screen will shut off in 5 seconds if there are no messages.

  3. Low Battery Alert
    If the battery is too low, the talkie will warn to charge, and the message may fail to transfer. Please charge it to make sure it will not influence your communication.

  4. Voice Prompt (Language Change)
    This talkie can set voice prompt by software on computer of “Chinese, English, OFF”, if you choose “OFF” the broadcast sound like “di,di,di”

  5. TX Prompt
    There are “off, TX Star, TX End, and TX both” of TX prompt. This function is default off. If you choose “X Star” by software, it would sound while you press PTT. Choose “TX End” it would voiced while you release the PTT button. Choose “TX both” it would voice when you press/release the PTT button.

  6. TOT (Time out timer)
    This function can be set by software on the computer program. TOT can prevent accidents caused by such as stuck PTT button or long time transmitting, which would also interfere with other radios or destroy the PTT function. The default TOT is 180 seconds.

  7. Delay of Voice Control
    You can set a couple of times (as 0.5s, 1s, 1.5s, 2s, 2.5s, 3s) to delay transferring caused by voice control. And the transfer will stop if the device does not receive the corresponding decibel.

  8. CTCSS (Continuous Tone Controlled Squelch System) & DCS (Continuous Digital Controlled Squelch System)
    CTCSS/DCS is majorly avoided receiving the unrelated calling from the same frequency. You would only receive the calls from the same continuous tone at an effective distance, otherwise, you would receive all the calls at the same frequency. You can set up this function on the menu of writing software or preset continuous tone-controlled squelch by the distributors. Tips: Using CTCSS/DCS does not mean your talking is absolutely secret although it already avoid you from receiving that frequency you don’ t want to receive.

  9. Set the password of the writing software
    The radio does not set a password while leaving the factory. You can set your own password. Click the cube of the “Change PWD” and input the password you want. And you Write frequency encryption of the talkie which would help you protect the data of frequency/CTCSS noted by others, and this function also protects the information of you and your clients.
