May Be Politically Incorrect But It's Still Fun
Now, to those of you in Movieland, you may have heard about some of the faults that plague this film and how its "sequel" (I use that word loosely.) tries to correct them. Before you commit to throwing 80-90 something minutes of your life away on it, let me make some things about the original film quite clear. (This was before Lawrence Guterman committed career suicide by directing a pathetic rip-off of The Mask, mind you.) Sure, cats may be portrayed as all bad. Sure, that's prejudiced. But, at least, there's fun in the proceedings. At least, the whole cats vs. dogs feud is told in a different way and not in the same Tom & Jerry/Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks formula that can only work so much time (i.e. both sides having gadgets that they use, the screenwriters being two of the writers ... Wouldn't anyone prefer wild, zany fan that has reason, rhyme and a whole lot of adventure and some downtime to spice up the proceedings over politically correct drivel that serves to commit Author's Saving Throws after another and extending the story into a franchise but ultimately succeeds at doing neither?

I had bought this movie before for my kids but it was ruined. I was delighted to find here on ebay. it's a cute story about cats verses dogs to be in control. the cats are power hungry as they are trying to take over the world. the dogs are of course mans best friend and protectors against the cats. the head of the brody, family played by Jeff Goldblum is portrayed as a nutty professor type. The cats are humorous. it is a cut movie for the kids.I had bought this movie before for my kids but it was ruined. I was delighted to find here on ebay. it's a cute story about cats verses dogs to be in control. the cats are power hungry as they are trying to take over the world. the dogs are of course mans best friend and protectors against the cats. the head of the brody, family played by Jeff Goldblum is portrayed as a nutty professor type. My kids remembered renting this video a few years ago and wanted to see it again. My boys especially, who have been acting anti-cat just to annoy their sister, love this movie as it puts a new twist on the cat vs. dog drama. The cats are trying to take over the world and make humans subservient. The dogs are out to save the world and foil the cats plans.

I loved it! It was such a cute movie! It is perfect for any animal-loving family. I decided to buy it because I had seen it in theaters and I really enjoyed it. I wanted to see it whenever I wanted. I think everyone should see this movie.
