The Village of Crete Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency dedicated to maintain law and order, health, safety and morals, preserving the peace, protecting life and property and by interceding to bring lawbreakers to justice.
We are committed to serve our residents, businesses and visitors with professional integrity and a sense of honorable service. We work in partnership with our community to prevent crime, enhance safety and preserve the quality of life in the Village of Crete.
The Crete Police Department is located in historic downtown Crete, at 1370 Benton Street. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm (excluding holidays). After hours and holidays, there is a call box conveniently located right outside the front door.
